Un’eccezionale collezione d’arte proveniente da uno dei più importanti musei del Nord Europa e della Francia è al centro di un nuovo importante appuntamento espositivo a Palazzo Zabarella. Grazie all’importante collaborazione con il LaM, Lille Métropole Musée d'art moderne, d'art contemporain et d'art brut, la mostra offrirà l’opportunità di ammirare 65 opere di 30 artisti d'avanguardia. Ai protagonisti delle avanguardie storiche e agli artisti più noti, se ne affiancano altri che aprono a scenari artistici inediti più vicini alla contemporaneità. Tra i numerosi capolavori spiccano cinque dipinti di Pablo Picasso e sei di Amedeo Modigliani.
Curata da Jeanne-Bathilde Lacourt, la mostra riunisce grandi nomi e capolavori, ed è articolata in sei sezioni tematiche, a partire da un approfondimento dell’avanguardia cubista, con dipinti di Picasso, di Georges Braque e Fernard Léger. Amedeo Modigliani occupa un posto d'onore all'interno della mostra, con un eccezionale gruppo di opere realizzate in momenti diversi della sua breve ma intensa carriera, che rivelano la ricca varietà e la profondità emotiva della sua straordinaria espressione artistica.
La mostra è una narrazione polifonica, un’occasione unica e preziosa per incontrare e ammirare straordinarie opere iconiche di alcuni dei grandi maestri del Novecento, accanto a voci meno note ma altrettanto potenti della modernità.

An exceptional art collection from one of the most important museums in Northern Europe and France is at the centre of an important new exhibition at Palazzo Zabarella. Thanks to the important collaboration with the LaM, Lille Métropole Musée d'art moderne, d'art contemporain et d'art brut, the exhibition will offer the opportunity to admire 65 works by 30 avant-garde artists. Alongside the protagonists of the historical avant-garde and the best-known artists, there are others who open up new artistic scenarios closer to the contemporary world. Among the numerous masterpieces are five paintings by Pablo Picasso and six by Amedeo Modigliani.
Curated by Jeanne-Bathilde Lacourt, the exhibition brings together great names and masterpieces, and is divided into six thematic sections, starting with a focus on the Cubist avant-garde, with paintings by Picasso, Georges Braque and Fernard Léger. Amedeo Modigliani occupies a place of honour in the exhibition, with an exceptional group of works created at different times in his short but intense career, revealing the rich variety and emotional depth of his extraordinary artistic expression.
The exhibition is a polyphonic narrative, a unique and valuable opportunity to encounter and admire extraordinary iconic works by some of the great masters of the 20th century, alongside lesser-known but equally powerful voices of modernity.

Eine außergewöhnliche Kunstsammlung eines der bedeutendsten Museen Nordeuropas und Frankreichs steht im Mittelpunkt einer wichtigen neuen Ausstellung im Palazzo Zabarella. Dank der bedeutenden Zusammenarbeit mit dem LaM, Lille Métropole Musée d'art moderne, d'art contemporain et d'art brut, wird die Ausstellung die Möglichkeit bieten, 65 Werke von 30 Avantgarde-Künstlern zu bewundern. Neben den Protagonisten der historischen Avantgarde und den bekanntesten Künstlern gibt es auch solche, die neue künstlerische Szenarien eröffnen, die der zeitgenössischen Welt näher stehen. Unter den zahlreichen Meisterwerken befinden sich fünf Gemälde von Pablo Picasso und sechs von Amedeo Modigliani.
Die von Jeanne-Bathilde Lacourt kuratierte Ausstellung vereint große Namen und Meisterwerke und ist in sechs thematische Abschnitte gegliedert, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf der kubistischen Avantgarde liegt, mit Gemälden von Picasso, Georges Braque und Fernard Léger. Einen Ehrenplatz in der Ausstellung nimmt Amedeo Modigliani mit einer außergewöhnlichen Gruppe von Werken ein, die zu verschiedenen Zeiten seiner kurzen, aber intensiven Karriere entstanden sind und die Vielfalt und emotionale Tiefe seines außergewöhnlichen künstlerischen Ausdrucks offenbaren.
Die Ausstellung ist eine vielstimmige Erzählung, eine einmalige und wertvolle Gelegenheit, außergewöhnliche ikonische Werke von einigen der großen Meister des 20. Jahrhunderts neben weniger bekannten, aber ebenso kraftvollen Stimmen der Moderne zu sehen und zu bewundern.
