La Padova che amiamo: visita alla Specola al tramonto
Sabato 18 Luglio 2026 - Padova
Visita guidata al tramonto ad uno dei simboli più rappresentativi ed iconici della città di Padova: l'alta torre, detta Specola dai padovani, ricorda infatti la dominazione del condottiero Ezzelino III da Romano, che nel 1242 aveva edificato un castello con due torri; approfondiremo la maggiore e più slanciata delle due, scoprendo che era in parte adibita a prigione.
Da Castello diventerà "Specula Astronomica" ovvero uno degli osservatori astronomici più belli nell'Europa del ‘700, visitato da personaggi famosi come Goethe, che nel 1786 descrisse nel suo diario di viaggio lo splendido panorama che poté ammirare dall'alto della torre dell'Osservatorio. Avremo modo durante la visita di osservare la nostra città al tramonto.
E' previsto un unico turno di visita con inizio alle ore 19:00
E' richiesto un contributo per partecipante di € 15 (per i tesserati € 13), per i bambini fino ai 12 anni di € 9

Guided tour at sunset to one of the most representative and iconic symbols of the city of Padua: the tall tower, known as Specola by the people of Padua, indeed recalls the domination of the warlord Ezzelino III da Romano, who in 1242 built a castle with two towers; we will delve into the taller and more slender of the two, discovering that it was partially used as a prison.
From Castle it will become "Specula Astronomica," one of the most beautiful astronomical observatories in 18th century Europe, visited by famous figures such as Goethe, who in 1786 described in his travel diary the splendid panorama he could admire from the top of the Observatory tower. We will have the opportunity during the visit to observe our city at sunset.
There will be a single tour starting at 7:00 p.m.
A contribution of € 15 is required per participant (€ 13 for members), and for children up to 12 years old € 9

Das Padua, das wir lieben: Besuch der Specola bei Sonnenuntergang
Samstag, 18. Juli 2026 - Padua
Geführte Besichtigung bei Sonnenuntergang eines der repräsentativsten und ikonischsten Symbole der Stadt Padua: Der hohe Turm, von den Padovani Specola genannt, erinnert an die Herrschaft des Condottiere Ezzelino III. da Romano, der 1242 eine Burg mit zwei Türmen errichtete; wir werden den größeren und schlankeren der beiden vertiefen und entdecken, dass er teilweise als Gefängnis genutzt wurde.
Aus der Burg wird "Specula Astronomica", eines der schönsten astronomischen Observatorien in Europa im 18. Jahrhundert, das von berühmten Persönlichkeiten wie Goethe besucht wurde, der 1786 in seinem Reisejournal die herrliche Aussicht beschrieb, die er von oben des Observatoriumsturms genießen konnte. Während des Besuchs werden wir die Möglichkeit haben, unsere Stadt bei Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten.
Es ist eine einzige Besuchsgruppe vorgesehen, die um 19:00 Uhr beginnt.
Es wird ein Beitrag von € 15 pro Teilnehmer (für Mitglieder € 13) erhoben, für Kinder bis 12 Jahre € 9.
