La Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo presenta INTRA:
performance di danza e teatro, installazioni video, concerti, dj set, mostre per 16 appuntamenti tutti a ingresso gratuito dal 9 al 28 maggio 2025.
A Padova avrà luogo la prima edizione di un Festival di arti performative dedicato al mondo dell’improvvisazione, pensato per affiancare all’attività espositiva dell’istituzione incursioni in altri linguaggi espressivi, creando un momento “tra le mostre” – da cui il nome INTRA – che trasformerà gli spazi dell’ex chiesa in un luogo di contaminazione.
In occasione della manifestazione, nell’ex chiesa di Sant’Agnese viene allestita l’opera Stadium di Maurizio Cattelan, un lunghissimo calcio balilla con cui la Fondazione invita il pubblico a interagire con l’Arte.
Inoltre, dal 24 maggio la sede della Fondazione si arricchisce ulteriormente grazie a Dante61, il nuovo bookshop
Con INTRA la Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo arricchisce ulteriormente la sua attività di promozione e valorizzazione del territorio, offrendo un festival che coinvolge artisti e performer in un serrato dialogo con gli spazi della ex Chiesa sede dell’istituzione.
Come negli happening degli anni Sessanta centralità totale viene data all’improvvisazione e alla sua capacità di coinvolgere, spiazzare, stimolare il pubblico.
Programma degli eventi
Venerdì 9 maggio
All ore 19:00 la rassegna apre con la musica proposta in collaborazione con A Love Supreme Impro Festival e le esibizioni della clarinettista Greta Romani e del contrabbasso solo di Mirco Ballabene, e con la mostra Riflessi di Storia.
Echi di futuro di Giovanni De Sandre che ha fotografato la trasformazione dell’ex Palazzo Lanza, decorato da affreschi di Giovanni De Min realizzati tra il 1821 e il 1824.
Entrato a far parte della Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo nel 2018, oggi il palazzo è in corso di ammodernamento per aprire in futuro nuovi spazi espositivi collegati alla ex chiesa di Sant’Agnese.
Mercoledì 14 maggio
Tra gli appuntamenti da non perdere, il concerto della DOOOM Orchestra, un collettivo di giovani musicisti che esplora l'improvvisazione, fondato da Francesco Cigana nel 2018: la performance dell’ensamble sarà anticipata dall’anteprima del documentario Our Sea Lies Within, che racconta la registrazione del loro disco. Il gruppo propone un repertorio in cui l’improvvisazione trascina l’ascoltatore in un viaggio che intreccia folk messicano, musica popolare siciliana, krautrock, rituali del sud-est asiatico, musica contemporanea eurocolta, free jazz americano, elettronica e dadaismo.
Giovedì 22 maggio
Sarà la volta della danza con Inesorabilmenteunavia, di Emma Zani e Roberto Doveri: performance ispirata da Il Bisonte (1998) di Bizhan Bassiri e Stefano Taglietti, una video-opera che indaga il rigenerarsi implacabile della natura. I due danzatori porteranno sulla scena un dialogo tra prospettive diverse, invitando al raggiungimento di nuovi equilibri attraverso la ricerca di un’armonia interiore.

The Alberto Peruzzo Foundation presents INTRA First edition of a performing arts festival dedicated to the world of improvisation.
Dance and theater performances, video installations, concerts, DJ sets, exhibitions for 16 events, all with free admission On the occasion of the event, the work Stadium by Maurizio Cattelan is set up in the former church of Sant’Agnese, a very long table football with which the Foundation invites the public to interact with Art.

The Events
From May 9 to 28, 2025
On Friday 9 May at 7:00 pm the festival opens with music proposed in collaboration with A Love Supreme Impro Festival and performances by clarinetist Greta Romani and the solo double bass of Mirco Ballabene, and with the exhibition Riflessi di Storia. Echi di futuro by Giovanni De Sandre who photographed the transformation of the former Palazzo Lanza, decorated with frescoes by Giovanni De Min made between 1821 and 1824.
Wednesday, May 14
Among the events not to be missed, Wednesday, May 14, the concert of the DOOOM Orchestra, a collective of young musicians that explores improvisation, founded by Francesco Cigana in 2018:
the ensemble's performance will be preceded by the preview of the documentary Our Sea Lies Within, which tells the story of the recording of their album.
The group offers a repertoire in which improvisation drags the listener on a journey that intertwines Mexican folk, Sicilian popular music, krautrock, Southeast Asian rituals, contemporary Eurocultured music, American free jazz, electronics and Dadaism.
May 22 Thursday will be the turn of dance with Inesorabilmenteunavia, by Emma Zani and Roberto Doveri:
a performance inspired by Il Bisonte (1998) by Bizhan Bassiri and Stefano Taglietti, a video-opera that investigates the relentless regeneration of nature.
The two dancers will bring a dialogue between different perspectives to the stage, inviting the achievement of new balances through the search for inner harmony.
Saturday, May 24 Saturday, the opening to the public of Dante61, the Foundation's new bookshop, next to the former church of Sant'Agnese, is also scheduled.
Artist projects, independent publishing houses, limited edition books, art catalogues and niche publishing realities will be the protagonists of this new space, designed with the intent of enhancing visual cultures and new publishing practices.
For the occasion, Fondazione Alberto Peruzzo, 2011-2025 will be presented, a three-volume box set that reconstructs the history of the foundation.
On the same day, the first edition of Viadante Art District will also be organized, an initiative created in synergy with other artistic realities of Via Dante, which will see the exceptional closure of the historic street for one day, thus transforming it into a salon dedicated to art, with studio visits and numerous events.

The intention to open up to the widest possible audience including young people is well represented on Sunday 25 May by Electric Body, the concert-performance by Pollini Electroacoustic Ensemble curated by the Electronic Music School of the Pollini Conservatory of Padua
