Antigoni vedrà in scena EgoSum danza: un progetto che nasce nel 2014 dalla collaborazione tra la danzatrice e coreografa Irene Stracciati e la cooperativa DownDadi di Padova.
La compagnia è composta da cinque danzatrici con sindrome di Down; il lavoro parte da un concetto di estetica diverso, contempla un tipo di bellezza fragile, una poesia senza inganni, con un’autentica mancanza di vanità, con la totale assenza di quella disperazione del ballerino stereotipato, che chiede inesorabilmente approvazione.
Antigoni will see EgoSum dance on stage: a project born in 2014 from the collaboration between the dancer and choreographer Irene Stracciati and the DownDadi cooperative of Padua.
The company is made up of five dancers with Down syndrome; the work starts from a different concept of aesthetics, contemplates a type of fragile beauty, a poetry without deception, with an authentic lack of vanity, with the total absence of that desperation of the stereotyped dancer, who inexorably asks for approval.
