Si tratta probabilmente della Chiesa più antica di Padova, sorta su preesistenze pagane del III e IV secolo, e rappresenta una delle più importanti testimonianze del romanico in Veneto.
Dopo aver visitato e approfondito le tre navate interne scenderemo in esclusiva al piano sottostante, per visitare la cripta che rivela la fondazione arcaica della chiesa di Santa Sofia, legata al culto mitraico.
E' previsto un unico turno di visita alle ore 16.00, della durata di circa 1 ora e 15 minuti.
E' richiesto un contributo per partecipante di € 15 (13 € per i tesserati), per i bambini fino ai 12 anni di € 8

This is probably the oldest church in Padua, built on pagan structures from the 3rd and 4th centuries, and represents one of the most important testimonies of Romanesque architecture in Veneto.
After visiting and exploring the three internal naves, we will exclusively descend to the underlying floor to visit the crypt, which reveals the archaic foundation of the church of Santa Sofia, linked to the Mithraic cult.
A single guided tour is scheduled for 16:00, lasting about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
A contribution of € 15 is requested per participant (€ 13 for members), and for children up to 12 years old, € 8

Es handelt sich wahrscheinlich um die älteste Kirche von Padua, die auf heidnischen Überresten aus dem 3. und 4. Jahrhundert errichtet wurde und eine der wichtigsten Zeugnisse der Romanik in Venetien darstellt.
Nachdem wir die drei inneren Schiffe besucht und vertieft haben, werden wir exklusiv in das darunterliegende Stockwerk hinabsteigen, um die Krypta zu besichtigen, die die archaische Gründung der Kirche von Santa Sofia offenbart, die mit dem Mithras-Kult verbunden ist.
Es ist eine einzige Besichtigung um 16.00 Uhr vorgesehen, die etwa 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten dauert.
Für jeden Teilnehmer wird ein Beitrag von 15 € (13 € für Mitglieder) verlangt, für Kinder bis 12 Jahre beträgt der Eintritt 8 €
