Dal 10 al 13 settembre 2026, Autori in Città torna a Padova con la sua settima edizione e un programma diffuso che coinvolgerà musei, librerie, gallerie, teatri e spazi culturali della città. Oltre 40 appuntamenti, 9 mostre e 20 autori e illustratori daranno vita a quattro giorni di incontri, esposizioni, laboratori e spettacoli che confermano il festival come uno dei principali appuntamenti italiani dedicati all'illustrazione contemporanea.
L'edizione 2026 si sviluppa attorno al tema "Tra sogno e realtà", un invito a riflettere sul ruolo dell'immaginazione in un tempo attraversato da conflitti, trasformazioni sociali e nuove fragilità.
A differenza di molti festival che si svolgono in un unico luogo, Autori in Città si costruisce insieme alla città. Le mostre dialogano con musei e gallerie, gli incontri animano librerie, teatri e altri spazi culturali: il festival non occupa Padova, ma la attraversa, creando connessioni tra istituzioni, professionisti, pubblico e territorio.
L'edizione 2026 amplia ulteriormente la propria rete di collaborazioni coinvolgendo, accanto ai partner storici, il Museo Diocesano, Art Studio Gabriela Herma, Barco Teatro, il Teatro Verdi, la Biblioteca Civica di Padova, l'Istituto di Cultura Italo- Tedesco e numerose realtà culturali cittadine.
Tra le novità dell'edizione entra nel programma Barco Teatro, che ospiterà workshop professionali, incontri di formazione e alcuni degli appuntamenti dedicati agli operatori culturali. Si amplia inoltre la rete delle sedi con Ex Foro Boario, il Museo Diocesano, Art Studio Gabriela Herma e altri luoghi simbolo della città. Inizia inoltre la collaborazione con l'OPV e il Teatro Verdi, che ospiteranno Inseguendo Degas, spettacolo che intreccia musica, narrazione e illustrazione dal vivo, offrendo al pubblico un'esperienza capace di unire linguaggi artistici differenti.
From September 10 to 13, 2026, Autori in Città returns to Padua with its seventh edition and a widespread program that will involve museums, bookstores, galleries, theatres, and cultural spaces of the city. Over 40 events, 9 exhibitions, and 20 authors and illustrators will bring to life four days of meetings, exhibitions, workshops, and performances that confirm the festival as one of the main Italian events dedicated to contemporary illustration.
The 2026 edition revolves around the theme "Between Dream and Reality," an invitation to reflect on the role of imagination in a time marked by conflicts, social transformations, and new fragilities.
Unlike many festivals that take place in a single location, Autori in Città builds itself together with the city. The exhibitions engage with museums and galleries, the meetings enliven bookstores, theatres, and other cultural spaces: the festival does not occupy Padua, but traverses it, creating connections between institutions, professionals, the public, and the territory.
The 2026 edition further expands its network of collaborations involving, alongside historic partners, the Diocesan Museum, Art Studio Gabriela Herma, Barco Teatro, the Verdi Theatre, the Civic Library of Padua, the Italo-German Cultural Institute, and numerous cultural entities in the city.
Among the news of the edition, Barco Teatro enters the program, which will host professional workshops, training meetings, and some events dedicated to cultural operators. The network of venues is also expanding with Ex Foro Boario, the Diocesan Museum, Art Studio Gabriela Herma, and other symbolic places of the city. Collaboration with the OPV and the Verdi Theatre also begins, which will host "Inseguendo Degas," a performance that intertwines music, storytelling, and live illustration, offering the audience an experience capable of uniting different artistic languages.
Vom 10. bis 13. September 2026 kehrt Autori in Città nach Padua zurück mit seiner siebten Ausgabe und einem breit gefächerten Programm, das Museen, Buchhandlungen, Galerien, Theatern und kulturellen Räumen der Stadt einbezieht. Über 40 Veranstaltungen, 9 Ausstellungen und 20 Autoren und Illustratoren geben vier Tage voller Begegnungen, Ausstellungen, Workshops und Aufführungen zum Besten, die das Festival als eines der bedeutendsten italienischen Events für zeitgenössische Illustration bestätigen.
Die Ausgabe 2026 dreht sich um das Thema „Zwischen Traum und Realität“, eine Einladung, über die Rolle der Vorstellungskraft in einer Zeit nachzudenken, die von Konflikten, sozialen Transformationen und neuen Verletzlichkeiten geprägt ist.
Im Gegensatz zu vielen Festivals, die an einem einzigen Ort stattfinden, entwickelt sich Autori in Città zusammen mit der Stadt. Die Ausstellungen stehen im Dialog mit Museen und Galerien, die Begegnungen beleben Buchhandlungen, Theater und andere kulturelle Räume: Das Festival besetzt Padua nicht, sondern durchquert die Stadt und schafft Verbindungen zwischen Institutionen, Fachleuten, Publikum und Territorium.
Die Ausgabe 2026 erweitert ihr Netzwerk von Kooperationen und bezieht, neben den historischen Partnern, das Diözesanmuseum, Art Studio Gabriela Herma, Barco Teatro, das Teatro Verdi, die Stadtbibliothek Padua, das Italo-Deutsche Kulturinstitut und zahlreiche kulturelle Einrichtungen der Stadt ein.
Neu in der Ausgabe ist Barco Teatro, das professionelle Workshops, Fortbildungstreffen und einige Veranstaltungen für Kulturakteure beherbergt. Zudem wird das Netzwerk der Veranstaltungsorte mit dem ehemaligen Viehmarkt, dem Diözesanmuseum, Art Studio Gabriela Herma und weiteren symbolträchtigen Orten der Stadt erweitert. Außerdem beginnt die Zusammenarbeit mit der OPV und dem Teatro Verdi, die „Inseguendo Degas“ präsentieren, eine Aufführung, die Musik, Erzählung und Live-Illustration verwoben und dem Publikum eine Erfahrung bietet, die verschiedene künstlerische Sprachen vereint.
