Santa Sofia si tratta probabilmente della Chiesa più antica di Padova, sorta su preesistenze pagane del III e IV secolo, e rappresenta una delle più importanti testimonianze del romanico in Veneto.
Dopo aver visitato e approfondito le tre navate interne, che ospitavano tra le altre cose una delle prime opere del Mantegna, scenderemo in esclusiva al piano sottostante, per visitare la cripta che rivela la fondazione arcaica della chiesa di Santa Sofia, legata al culto mitraico.
E' previsto un unico turno di visita alle ore 15:00, della durata di circa 1 ora e 30 minuti.
E' richiesto un contributo per partecipante di € 15 (13 € per i tesserati), per i bambini fino ai 12 anni di € 6

Santa Sofia is probably the oldest church in Padua, built on pagan remains from the 3rd and 4th centuries, and it represents one of the most important testimonies of Romanesque architecture in Veneto.
After visiting and exploring the three internal naves, which housed among other things one of Mantegna's earliest works, we will exclusively descend to the lower level to visit the crypt that reveals the archaic foundation of the church of Santa Sofia, linked to Mithraic worship.
A single tour is scheduled at 3:00 p.m., lasting about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
A contribution of € 15 (€ 13 for members) is required for each participant, and for children up to 12 years old, it is € 6.

Santa Sofia gilt wahrscheinlich als die älteste Kirche von Padua, die auf heidnischen Vorgängern aus dem 3. und 4. Jahrhundert erbaut wurde, und stellt eine der wichtigsten Zeugnisse der romanischen Architektur in Venetien dar.
Nachdem wir die drei Innenchöre, die unter anderem eines der ersten Werke von Mantegna beherbergten, besucht und vertieft haben, werden wir exklusiv in die darunter liegende Ebene hinabsteigen, um die Kripta zu besichtigen, die die archaische Gründung der Kirche Santa Sofia offenbart, die mit dem Mithras-Kult verbunden ist.
Es ist eine einzige Besichtigung um 15:00 Uhr vorgesehen, die etwa 1 Stunde und 30 Minuten dauert.
Es wird ein Beitrag von € 15 (13 € für Mitglieder) pro Teilnehmer erhoben, für Kinder bis 12 Jahre beträgt der Preis € 6.
