Dopo vari decenni torna accessibile alla cittadinanza la Torre degli Anziani che è un campanile pubblico ed è il più antico edificio civico di Padova, già esistente nel secolo XII. Era la torre gentilizia della famiglia Camposampiero, e nel 1215 venne venduta alla comunità civica del condottiero Tiso VI da Camposampiero.
Per questa importante novità Padovanità vi propone questo appuntamento imperdibile con la storia della nostra città, comprensivo di approfondimento e contestualizzazione storica alla base della Torre, e di successivo ingresso e salita alla torre.

Durata delle visita (indicativa) 1 ora e 30 minuti, si consigliano delle calzature comode. Per l'ascesa alla torre ci sono circa 190 gradini.
E' richiesto un contributo per partecipante di € 12 (per i tesserati € 10); per i bambini fino a 12 anni di € 6.

After several decades, the Torre degli Anziani, a public bell tower and the oldest civic building in Padua, which has existed since the 12th century, is once again accessible to the public. It was the noble tower of the Camposampiero family, and in 1215 it was sold to the civic community by the condottiero Tiso VI da Camposampiero.

Nach mehreren Jahrzehnten wird der Torre degli Anziani, ein öffentlicher Glockenturm und das älteste Bürgergebäude von Padua, das bereits im 12. Jahrhundert existierte, wieder für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. Es war der Familienwasserturm der Familie Camposampiero, und 1215 wurde es an die Bürgergemeinschaft des Condottieres Tiso VI. von Camposampiero verkauft.
