Gina Roma. Pittrice, artista, donna. Nel segno del colore (1946–2002)
Dal 29 marzo al 28 giugno 2026 Oderzo ospita la mostra dedicata a Gina Roma, artista profondamente legata al territorio opitergino e protagonista della scena culturale del Novecento.
Nata a Vazzola e formatasi tra Treviso e Venezia, Gina Roma si trasferì a Oderzo nel 1943, città che divenne il centro della sua vita e della sua attività artistica. Qui sviluppò un intenso percorso creativo e culturale, contribuendo attivamente alla promozione dell’arte moderna e alla crescita delle istituzioni artistiche locali.
Pittrice e animatrice culturale, fu fondatrice nel 1968 del Circolo Culturale Quattro Cantoni e nel 1987 di Ca’ Lozzio Incontri. Tra il 1986 e il 1993 presiedette inoltre la Pinacoteca Alberto Martini, promuovendo iniziative dedicate all’arte contemporanea, tra cui la Biennale di Incisione intitolata al grafico opitergino.
La mostra ripercorre il suo percorso artistico attraverso opere realizzate tra il 1946 e il 2002, restituendo al pubblico l’energia espressiva e la ricca ricerca cromatica che caratterizzano la sua pittura.
Insieme al Museo del Duomo, a Ca’ Lozzio Incontri, la Fondazione Oderzo Cultura la ricorda e la celebra con una mostra diffusa che ha in Palazzo Foscolo la sede espositiva centrale, offrendo l’occasione per riscoprire una figura significativa dell’arte del Novecento profondamente legata alla storia culturale di Oderzo.
Gina Roma. Painter, artist, woman. In the name of color (1946–2002)
From March 29 to June 28, 2026, Oderzo hosts the exhibition dedicated to Gina Roma, an artist profoundly linked to the Opitergino territory and a protagonist of the cultural scene of the Twentieth Century.
Born in Vazzola and trained between Treviso and Venice, Gina Roma moved to Oderzo in 1943, a city that became the center of her life and artistic activity. Here she developed an intense creative and cultural journey, actively contributing to the promotion of modern art and the growth of local artistic institutions.
Painter and cultural animator, she founded the Quattro Cantoni Cultural Circle in 1968 and Ca’ Lozzio Incontri in 1987. Between 1986 and 1993, she also presided over the Alberto Martini Pinacoteca, promoting initiatives dedicated to contemporary art, including the Engraving Biennale named after the Opitergino graphic artist.
The exhibition retraces her artistic journey through works created between 1946 and 2002, returning to the public the expressive energy and rich chromatic research that characterize her painting.
Together with the Museum of the Cathedral, at Ca’ Lozzio Incontri, the Oderzo Cultura Foundation remembers and celebrates her with a widespread exhibition that has Palazzo Foscolo as the central exhibition venue, offering the opportunity to rediscover a significant figure in the art of the Twentieth Century deeply linked to the cultural history of Oderzo.

Vom 29. März bis 28. Juni 2026 beherbergt Oderzo die Ausstellung, die Gina Roma gewidmet ist, einer Künstlerin, die eng mit dem opiterginischen Gebiet verbunden ist und eine zentrale Figur der kulturellen Szene des 20. Jahrhunderts war.
Geboren in Vazzola und ausgebildet zwischen Treviso und Venedig, zog Gina Roma 1943 nach Oderzo, einer Stadt, die zum Zentrum ihres Lebens und ihrer künstlerischen Tätigkeit wurde. Hier entwickelte sie einen intensiven kreativen und kulturellen Weg, indem sie aktiv zur Förderung der modernen Kunst und zum Wachstum der lokalen künstlerischen Institutionen beitrug.
Als Malerin und kulturelle Animatorin gründete sie 1968 den Circolo Culturale Quattro Cantoni und 1987 Ca’ Lozzio Incontri. Zwischen 1986 und 1993 war sie außerdem Präsidentin der Pinacoteca Alberto Martini, wo sie Initiativen zur zeitgenössischen Kunst förderte, darunter die Biennale für Grafik, die dem opiterginischen Grafiker gewidmet ist.
Die Ausstellung beleuchtet ihren künstlerischen Werdegang anhand von Werken, die zwischen 1946 und 2002 entstanden sind, und vermittelt dem Publikum die expressive Energie und die reiche Farbforschung, die ihr Malen auszeichnet.
