Tratto dal romanzo "The Loves of Judith" di Meir Shalev, è un suggestivo intreccio di presente e passato attraverso la storia di due donne: Esther vuole conoscere in Israele la storia di Yehudit, una donna indipendente, libera, carismatica, pronta a rimboccarsi le maniche per abbracciare, nella Palestina degli anni Trenta, la "dura vita dei coloni". Una toccante storia di amore e riscoperta delle proprie radici.
