Il 25 Aprile, festa di San Marco, da oltre 50 anni è la data di FIORI A MIRANO, una manifestazione dedicata al piacere del giardinaggio, alla conoscenza delle piante e della loro cura, alla ricerca delle novità dell’arredo da esterno. Una meta per tutti: per chi ama e pratica il verde, per chi ne è solo incuriosito e per chi, semplicemente, vuole fare una passeggiata tra profumi e colori.
L’evento ha come tema centrale la Rosa, in omaggio all'antica tradizione veneziana della Festa del Bocolo, secondo la quale, proprio il 25 aprile, ogni innamorato regala alla sua amata un bocciolo di rosa rossa. Per questo, intorno a Piazza Martiri e nelle vie adiacenti, potrete trovare importanti vivaisti tra i più noti del settore, con una ricchissima offerta di rose antiche, da collezione, rose profumate e nuove varietà, ma anche giovani vivaisti portatori di idee e proposte nuove, frutto di una rigorosa selezione volta a soddisfare i desideri dei “giardinieri più sofisticati e preparati”, e a stupirli con le varietà di rose più particolari, più profumate o più rare.
Ma non troverete solo rose. Se siete curiosi o ricercatori di nuove specie, “Fiori a Mirano” è una elegante vetrina creata apposta per voi. Oltre 120 selezionatissimi espositori vi aspettano per offrirvi le ultime novità o semplicemente le più adatte alle vostre esigenze: piante fiorite per i vasi, arbusti ed alberelli per i piccoli giardini, agrumi, rampicanti, perenni, aromatiche, piante per le zone ombrose, acidofile, bonsai, succulente …
E poi bulbi e prodotti per l’orto!

On April 25th, the feast of San Marco, for over 50 years has been the date of FIORI A MIRANO, an event dedicated to the pleasure of gardening, the knowledge of plants and their care, and the search for novelties in outdoor furniture. A destination for everyone: for those who love and practice greenery, for those who are simply curious, and for those who just want to take a stroll among scents and colors.
The central theme of the event is the Rose, in homage to the ancient Venetian tradition of the Festa del Bocolo, according to which, on April 25th, every lover gives their beloved a bud of a red rose. For this reason, around Piazza Martiri and in the adjacent streets, you will find important nurserymen among the most renowned in the field, with a rich offer of antique roses, collectible roses, fragrant roses, and new varieties, as well as young growers bringing fresh ideas and proposals, the result of a rigorous selection aimed at satisfying the desires of the “most sophisticated and prepared gardeners,” and astonishing them with the most particular, fragrant, or rare varieties of roses.
But you won’t find just roses. If you are curious or in search of new species, “Fiori a Mirano” is an elegant showcase created especially for you. Over 120 carefully selected exhibitors are waiting to offer you the latest novelties or simply those most suitable for your needs: flowering plants for pots, shrubs and small trees for tiny gardens, citrus fruits, climbing plants, perennials, herbs, plants for shady areas, acid-loving plants, bonsai, succulents …
And then bulbs and products for the vegetable garden!

Am 25. April, dem Festtag des heiligen Markus, ist seit über 50 Jahren das Datum von FIORI A MIRANO, einer Veranstaltung, die dem Vergnügen des Gärtnerns, dem Wissen über Pflanzen und deren Pflege sowie der Suche nach Neuheiten für die Gartengestaltung gewidmet ist. Ein Ziel für alle: für diejenigen, die das Grüne lieben und praktizieren, für diejenigen, die nur neugierig sind, und für diejenigen, die einfach nur einen Spaziergang zwischen Düften und Farben machen möchten.
Das zentrale Thema der Veranstaltung ist die Rose, als Hommage an die alte venezianische Tradition des Festes Bocolo, nach der am 25. April jeder Verliebte seiner Geliebten eine Knospe einer roten Rose schenkt. Aus diesem Grund werden Sie rund um die Piazza Martiri und in den angrenzenden Straßen bedeutende Gärtner finden, die zu den bekanntesten der Branche gehören, mit einem reichhaltigen Angebot an alten, sammelwürdigen, duftenden Rosen und neuen Sorten, aber auch junge Gärtner, die neue Ideen und Vorschläge mitbringen, das Ergebnis einer strengen Auswahl, die darauf abzielt, die Wünsche der „sophistiziertesten und erfahrensten Gärtner“ zu erfüllen und sie mit den besonderssten, duftendsten oder seltensten Rosensorten zu überraschen.
