Anche quest’anno il Carnevale animerà le strade di Mirano con una serie di eventi che coinvolgeranno tutta la città, tra musica, teatro, giochi e momenti di festa per grandi e piccini. Dal 7 al 16 febbraio 2026, il programma propone iniziative di quartiere, spettacoli teatrali e il gran finale in piazza Martiri, per celebrare insieme le tradizioni più autentiche della comunità.
Si parte sabato 7 febbraio alle ore 14.30 in piazza Aldo Moro con il “Carnevale del quartiere Aldo Moro”. Ad aprire i festeggiamenti sarà la Filarmonica di Mirano, seguita da DJ set, giochi, animazioni, laboratori di trucco e, naturalmente, galani e frittelle per tutti. La festa è organizzata da Comitato di Quartiere Aldo Moro, Centro Civico Masenello, Arcam, Parrocchia di San Leopoldo Mandic e Associazione Piazza Aldo Moro, in collaborazione con il Comune. In caso di maltempo, l’evento si svolgerà nella sala polivalente della Parrocchia di San Leopoldo Mandic.
Il Carnevale proseguirà con altri appuntamenti tradizionali: domenica 8 febbraio con la festa del Patronato San Pio X a Mirano capoluogo e domenica 15 febbraio presso la parrocchia di Ballò, dove tanti volontari continueranno a coinvolgere la comunità con momenti di gioco e condivisione.
Come ogni anno, non mancherà il teatro. Giovedì 12 febbraio alle ore 20.30, al Teatro di Mirano, andrà in scena la commedia “Anfitrione” con Emilio Solfrizzi, una delle opere più celebri di Plauto, capace di unire risate e valore culturale, offrendo uno sguardo sulla contemporaneità attraverso la lente dell’antica commedia.

Il gran finale si terrà lunedì 16 febbraio dalle ore 15.30 in piazza Martiri, con l’apertura della Filarmonica di Mirano in costume settecentesco, che sfilerà tra le vie del centro.
Immancabile la discesa dei Pulcinella dal Municipio, eseguita dagli scalatori del CAI – sezione Alberto Azzolini di Mirano,che con acrobazie e leggerezza rievocheranno le celebri figure dei Pulcinella di Giandomenico Tiepolo. Momento clou sarà la sfilata della “Carovana di… Carnevale”, durante la quale grandi e piccini, con carri mascherati, maschere e musica, animeranno la piazza. La partecipazione delle frazioni e l’impegno dei numerosi volontari garantiranno momenti di allegria e divertimento per tutti. A completare la festa, merenda con galani offerti da Supermercati Lando e distribuiti dalla Pro Loco Mirano e il servizio di trucca-bimbi a cura di Non solo Tata.
Alla manifestazione del 16 febbraio sarà presente Greta Donaggio, giovane miranese al terzo anno di Infermieristica, insieme ad altre giovani del territorio. Greta porta con sé un percorso ricco di esperienze personali e formative, che racconta con entusiasmo; tra queste anche la partecipazione, nel 2025, al Carnevale di Venezia come una delle dodici Marie, esperienza conclusa e riferita a una passata edizione. A titolo esclusivamente personale, per il semplice piacere di partecipare al Carnevale della sua città, Greta, insieme alle sue amiche, sfilerà insieme alla Filarmonica di Mirano.
Per consentire lo svolgimento della manifestazione, piazza Martiri sarà chiusa al transito e alla sosta dalle ore 14.00 alle ore 18.30. Sarà garantita la presenza in piazza di Protezione Civile e Polizia Locale, a cui va un sentito ringraziamento per il supporto e la sicurezza.

This year's Carnival will animate the streets of Mirano with a series of events that will involve the whole city, including music, theater, games, and festive moments for both young and old. From February 7 to 16, 2026, the program offers neighborhood initiatives, theater performances, and the grand finale in Piazza Martiri, to celebrate together the most authentic traditions of the community.
The festivities will kick off on Saturday, February 7 at 2:30 PM in Piazza Aldo Moro with the “Carnival of the Aldo Moro District”. The celebrations will be opened by the Filarmonica di Mirano, followed by DJ sets, games, animations, makeup workshops, and, of course, galani and fritters for everyone. The event is organized by the Comitato di Quartiere Aldo Moro, Centro Civico Masenello, Arcam, Parrocchia di San Leopoldo Mandic, and Associazione Piazza Aldo Moro, in collaboration with the Municipality. In case of bad weather, the event will be held in the multipurpose hall of the Parrocchia di San Leopoldo Mandic.
The Carnival will continue with other traditional events: Sunday, February 8 with the celebration of the Patronato San Pio X in Mirano's town center and Sunday, February 15 at the Parrocchia di Ballò, where many volunteers will continue to engage the community with moments of play and sharing.
As every year, theater will be part of the celebration. On Thursday, February 12 at 8:30 PM, at the Teatro di Mirano, the comedy “Anfitrione” featuring Emilio Solfrizzi, one of Plautus' most famous works, will take the stage, capable of uniting laughter and cultural value, offering a perspective on contemporary issues through the lens of ancient comedy.

The grand finale will be held on Monday, February 16 from 3:30 PM in Piazza Martiri, featuring the Filarmonica di Mirano in 18th-century costumes, which will parade through the streets of the city center.
Unmissable will be the descent of the Pulcinella from the Town Hall, carried out by the climbers of the CAI – Alberto Azzolini section of Mirano, who, with acrobatics and lightness, will evoke the famous figures of the Pulcinella from Giandomenico Tiepolo. The highlight will be the parade of the “Caravana di… Carnevale”, during which both young and old, with masked floats, costumes, and music, will liven up the square. The participation of the neighborhoods and the commitment of numerous volunteers will guarantee moments of joy and fun for everyone. To complete the celebration, a snack with galani will be offered by Supermercati Lando and distributed by Pro Loco Mirano along with a face painting service provided by Non solo Tata.
At the event on February 16, Greta Donaggio, a young resident of Mirano in her third year of nursing studies, will be present, along with other youths from the area. Greta brings with her a wealth of personal and educational experiences, which she shares enthusiastically; among these is her participation, in 2025, in the Carnival of Venice as one of the twelve Marie, an experience concluded and relating to a past edition. For purely personal reasons, simply for the joy of participating in her city's Carnival, Greta, along with her friends, will parade with the Filarmonica di Mirano.
