Domenica 8 marzo, in occasione della Festa della Donna, Villa Widmann propone un pomeriggio speciale dedicato alle grandi figure femminili, tra racconto storico e rappresentazione teatrale.
Alle ore 16.30 sarà possibile partecipare a una visita guidata tematica a cura dello staff, dedicata al ruolo delle donne nella storia della Villa e del territorio: nobildonne, patrone illuminate, figure femminili capaci di incidere nel tessuto sociale, culturale ed economico del loro tempo. Un percorso che restituisce voce e centralità a presenze spesso rimaste ai margini del racconto ufficiale.

A seguire, lo spettacolo teatrale “Una giornata fosca e bella insieme”, proposto dalla Compagnia Teatrale Altinate di Mogliano Veneto, con adattamento e regia di Barbara Conte.
Liberamente tratto da Macbeth e Il mercante di Venezia di William Shakespeare, lo spettacolo attraversa il dramma e la commedia mettendo al centro due straordinarie figure femminili: Lady Macbeth e Porzia.
Da un lato Lady Macbeth, donna potente e tormentata, simbolo di ambizione e conflitto interiore; dall’altro Porzia, intelligente, astuta e coraggiosa, capace di ribaltare il destino attraverso la forza della parola e della giustizia. Due volti della femminilità che, tra ombra e luce, raccontano la complessità dell’animo umano e la capacità delle donne di incidere sul proprio destino.
Uno spettacolo attuale e intenso che invita a riflettere su potere, giustizia, amore e umanità, celebrando la donna non come simbolo astratto, ma come protagonista consapevole della propria storia.
Un pomeriggio che intreccia memoria, cultura e teatro, per rendere omaggio alla forza, alla fragilità e alla determinazione femminile.

On Sunday, March 8, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Villa Widmann offers a special afternoon dedicated to great female figures, between historical storytelling and theatrical representation.
At 4:30 PM, it will be possible to participate in a thematic guided tour organized by the staff, dedicated to the role of women in the history of the Villa and the territory: noblewomen, enlightened patrons, female figures capable of impacting the social, cultural, and economic fabric of their time. A journey that gives voice and centrality to presences often left on the margins of the official narrative.

Following this, the theatrical performance “A Gloomy and Beautiful Day Together,” presented by the Altinate Theater Company from Mogliano Veneto, adapted and directed by Barbara Conte.
Freely adapted from Macbeth and The Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare, the performance navigates through drama and comedy, focusing on two extraordinary female figures: Lady Macbeth and Portia.
On one side, Lady Macbeth, a powerful and tormented woman, symbol of ambition and inner conflict; on the other, Portia, intelligent, cunning, and courageous, capable of overturning fate through the power of words and justice. Two faces of femininity that, between shadow and light, narrate the complexity of the human soul and the ability of women to affect their own destiny.
An intense and contemporary performance that invites reflection on power, justice, love, and humanity, celebrating women not as an abstract symbol, but as conscious protagonists of their own story.
An afternoon that intertwines memory, culture, and theater, paying homage to female strength, fragility, and determination.

Sonntag, den 8. März, anlässlich des Internationalen Frauentags, bietet Villa Widmann einen besonderen Nachmittag, der großen Frauenfiguren gewidmet ist, zwischen historischer Erzählung und Theateraufführung.
Um 16:30 Uhr wird es möglich sein, an einer thematischen Führung des Teams teilzunehmen, die der Rolle der Frauen in der Geschichte der Villa und des Gebietes gewidmet ist: Adelige Damen, aufgeklärte Patronessen, weibliche Figuren, die in das soziale, kulturelle und wirtschaftliche Gefüge ihrer Zeit eingreifen konnten. Ein Weg, der oft marginalisierte Stimmen ins Zentrum rückt und deren Bedeutung im offiziellen Erzählstrang betont.

Im Anschluss folgt das Theaterstück „Ein trüber und schöner Tag zusammen“, das von der Theatergruppe Altinate aus Mogliano Veneto mit Anpassung und Regie von Barbara Conte angeboten wird.
Frei inspiriert von Macbeth und Der Kaufmann von Venedig von William Shakespeare, durchquert das Stück Drama und Komödie und stellt zwei außergewöhnliche Frauenfiguren ins Zentrum: Lady Macbeth und Portia.
Auf der einen Seite Lady Macbeth, eine mächtige und gequälte Frau, Symbol für Ambition und inneren Konflikt; auf der anderen Seite Portia, intelligent, schlau und mutig, fähig, das Schicksal durch die Kraft des Wortes und der Gerechtigkeit zu wenden. Zwei Gesichter der Weiblichkeit, die zwischen Schatten und Licht die Komplexität der menschlichen Seele und die Fähigkeit der Frauen zeigen, ihr eigenes Schicksal zu beeinflussen.
Ein aktuelles und intensives Stück, das dazu einlädt, über Macht, Gerechtigkeit, Liebe und Menschlichkeit nachzudenken und die Frau nicht als abstraktes Symbol, sondern als bewusste Protagonistin ihrer eigenen Geschichte zu feiern.
Ein Nachmittag, der Erinnerung, Kultur und Theater verwebt, um der Stärke, der Fragilität und der Entschlossenheit von Frauen zu gedenken.
