Sabato 21 marzo 2026 dalle 14.30, Chiara Bertacco Guida Ambientale Escursionistica, organizza, in collaborazione con Villa Godi Malinverni, la camminata Camminar(t)e al tramonto a Villa Godi a Lugo di Vicenza.
Un guida escursionistica e una guida turistica si uniscono per offrirvi un’esperienza unica alla scoperta del territorio, sia dal punto di vista naturalistico che culturale ed artistico.
Inizieremo con un’escursione nei dintorni di Villa Godi Malinverni, primo progetto di Andrea Palladio. Cammineremo attraverso boschi, antiche contrade, lavatoi e filari di viti che seguono le linee sinuose dei pendii, costeggiando anche un torrente.
Proprio in questa zona, nell’Ottocento, fu scoperto un importante giacimento fossile: resti di animali marini e piante che raccontano un sorprendente passato tropicale. Tra questi spicca la palma fossile più lunga al mondo, un esemplare completo di radici, tronco e foglie lungo ben 9 metri.
Rientrati alla base, visiteremo il museo che custodisce questi preziosi reperti, all’interno di Villa Godi Malinverni e, insieme alla guida Monica Facchini, esploreremo gli interni della villa, dove è conservato uno tra i più affascinanti cicli di affreschi del Cinquecento.
Il pomeriggio si concluderà tra il giardino e le scuderie della villa, dove ammireremo il tramonto gustando un aperitivo curato per l’occasione.

Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 2:30 PM, Chiara Bertacco Environmental Hiking Guide, organizes, in collaboration with Villa Godi Malinverni, the walk Walking at sunset at Villa Godi in Lugo di Vicenza.
An hiking guide and a tourist guide join forces to offer you a unique experience in discovering the area, both from a naturalistic and cultural and artistic perspective.
We will start with an excursion in the surroundings of Villa Godi Malinverni, the first project by Andrea Palladio. We will walk through woods, ancient paths, washhouses, and rows of vines that follow the sinuous lines of the hills, also bordering a stream.
Right in this area, an important fossil deposit was discovered in the 19th century: remains of marine animals and plants that tell a surprising tropical past. Among these, stands out the longest fossil palm in the world, a complete specimen with roots, trunk, and leaves measuring an impressive 9 meters.
Upon returning to the base, we will visit the museum that houses these precious finds, inside Villa Godi Malinverni, and, together with guide Monica Facchini, we will explore the interiors of the villa, where one of the most fascinating fresco cycles of the 16th century is preserved.
The afternoon will conclude in the garden and stables of the villa, where we will admire the sunset while enjoying an aperitif prepared for the occasion.

Samstag, 21. März 2026 von 14:30, Chiara Bertacco Umweltwanderführerin, organisiert in Zusammenarbeit mit Villa Godi Malinverni den Spaziergang Camminar(t)e al tramonto a Villa Godi in Lugo di Vicenza.
Eine Wanderführerin und ein Reiseleiter vereinen sich, um Ihnen ein einzigartiges Erlebnis zur Entdeckung des Gebiets zu bieten, sowohl aus naturkundlicher als auch aus kultureller und künstlerischer Sicht.
Wir beginnen mit einer Wanderung in den umliegenden Gebieten von Villa Godi Malinverni, dem ersten Projekt von Andrea Palladio. Wir wandern durch Wälder, alte Gassen, Waschstellen und Weinstöcke, die den sanften Linien der Hänge folgen und auch einen kleinen Bach begleiten.
Genau in dieser Region wurde im 19. Jahrhundert ein bedeutendes Fossilvorkommen entdeckt: Überreste von Meereslebewesen und Pflanzen, die eine überraschende tropische Vergangenheit erzählen. Unter ihnen sticht die längste fossile Palme der Welt hervor, ein vollständiges Exemplar mit Wurzeln, Stamm und Blättern, das beeindruckende 9 Meter lang ist.
Bei unserer Rückkehr zur Basis besuchen wir das Museum, das diese wertvollen Funde im Inneren der Villa Godi Malinverni beherbergt, und zusammen mit der Führerin Monica Facchini erkunden wir die Innenräume der Villa, wo eines der faszinierendsten Freskenzyklen des 16. Jahrhunderts aufbewahrt wird.
Der Nachmittag endet im Garten und in den Stallungen der Villa, wo wir den Sonnenuntergang genießen und einen für diesen Anlass vorbereiteten Aperitif probieren werden.
Die Kosten für den Aperitif, einschließlich Eintrittskarte, betragen 18,00 € pro Person.
