San Rocco 2026: a Valbona torna la festa tra tradizione, musica e solidarietà
Dal 14 al 18 agosto Valbona di Lozzo Atestino celebra il suo patrono con cinque giorni di eventi che uniscono spiritualità, intrattenimento e convivialità. La tradizionale Festa di San Rocco, organizzata con il supporto del Comune, del Comitato San Rocco Valbona e della Parrocchia, propone un ricco programma pensato per tutte le età.
L'apertura, venerdì 14 agosto, è affidata a "Valbona sotto le stelle", con una serata Afro animata da DJ Morgan e dal guest DJ e vocalist Andrea Meggio. Sabato spazio allo sport e alla beneficenza con il Memorial Franco Jarina e Walter Lazzarini, seguito in serata dalla musica degli Urban Country.
Il momento più atteso sarà domenica 16 agosto con la Santa Messa e la suggestiva processione medievale, durante la quale la statua di San Rocco attraverserà le vie del paese accompagnata da figuranti, banda musicale e sbandieratori. La serata proseguirà nel cortile del castello con uno spettacolo di bandiera, focoleria e musica dal vivo.
Lunedì 17 agosto saliranno sul palco i Millennial Vibes, mentre martedì 18 la chiusura sarà affidata al DJ Omar.
Per tutta la durata della manifestazione sarà attivo lo stand gastronomico con specialità locali, tra cui musso, trippe, panini onti e porchetta. Non mancherà inoltre la tradizionale pesca di beneficenza, il cui ricavato contribuirà a sostenere iniziative solidali, confermando lo spirito di comunità che da sempre caratterizza la festa di San Rocco.
San Rocco 2026: the festival returns to Valbona with tradition, music, and solidarity
From August 14 to 18, Valbona di Lozzo Atestino celebrates its patron saint with five days of events that unite spirituality, entertainment, and conviviality. The traditional Festa di San Rocco, organized with the support of the Municipality, the San Rocco Valbona Committee, and the Parish, offers a rich program designed for all ages.
The opening, on Friday, August 14, features "Valbona sotto le stelle," with an Afro evening animated by DJ Morgan and guest DJ and vocalist Andrea Meggio. Saturday will focus on sports and charity with the Franco Jarina and Walter Lazzarini Memorial, followed in the evening by music from Urban Country.
The most anticipated moment will be on Sunday, August 16, with the Holy Mass and the evocative medieval procession, during which the statue of San Rocco will traverse the streets of the town accompanied by performers, a musical band, and flag bearers. The evening will continue in the castle courtyard with a flag show, fire juggling, and live music.
On Monday, August 17, Millennial Vibes will take the stage, while on Tuesday, August 18, the closing will be entrusted to DJ Omar.
Throughout the event, there will be a food stand featuring local specialties, including musso, tripe, rich sandwiches, and porchetta. Additionally, the traditional charity raffle will take place, with proceeds contributing to support solidarity initiatives, confirming the community spirit that has always characterized the Festa di San Rocco.

Vom 14. bis 18. August feiert Valbona di Lozzo Atestino seinen Schutzpatron mit fünf Tagen voller Veranstaltungen, die Spiritualität, Unterhaltung und Geselligkeit verbinden. Das traditionelle Fest zu Ehren des Heiligen Rocco, organisiert mit Unterstützung der Gemeinde, des Komitees San Rocco Valbona und der Pfarrei, bietet ein reichhaltiges Programm, das für alle Altersgruppen gedacht ist.
Der Auftakt am Freitag, den 14. August, gehört zu "Valbona unter den Sternen" mit einem Afro-Abend, der von DJ Morgan und dem Gast-DJ und Vocalisten Andrea Meggio gestaltet wird. Am Samstag stehen Sport und Wohltätigkeit im Mittelpunkt mit dem Memorial Franco Jarina und Walter Lazzarini, gefolgt von livemusik der Urban Country am Abend.
Der mit Spannung erwartete Höhepunkt wird am Sonntag, den 16. August, mit der Heiligen Messe und der beeindruckenden mittelalterlichen Prozession sein, bei der die Statue des San Rocco begleitet von Darstellern, einer Musikkapelle und Fahnenwechslern durch die Straßen des Dorfes getragen wird. Der Abend wird im Innenhof des Schlosses mit einer Fahnen-Show, Feuerstelle und livemusik fortgesetzt.
Am Montag, den 17. August, treten die Millennial Vibes auf die Bühne, während am Dienstag, den 18., der DJ Omar den Abschluss macht.
Während der gesamten Festlichkeiten wird ein gastronomischer Stand mit lokalen Spezialitäten wie Musso, Trippa, fetten Brötchen und Porchetta geöffnet sein. Außerdem wird es die traditionelle Wohltätigkeitsverlosung geben, deren Erlös zur Unterstützung solidarischer Initiativen beiträgt und den Gemeinschaftsgeist, der das Fest des Heiligen Rocco seit jeher prägt, bestätigt.
