L’Università Popolare Alta Castellana-Loria presenta il corso “Figure di donne eccezionali”, tenuto dalla professoressa Liliana Contin.
Il percorso sarà dedicato a donne esploratrici e viaggiatrici che, con coraggio e determinazione, hanno sfidato i limiti del loro tempo. Dalla botanica francese Jeanne Baret, prima donna a compiere la circumnavigazione del globo nel XVIII secolo, alla scrittrice e viaggiatrice Freya Stark, instancabile esploratrice del Medio Oriente nel Novecento, il corso accompagnerà i partecipanti attraverso racconti, avventure e testimonianze che mostrano come queste figure abbiano saputo unire curiosità, resilienza e amore per la scoperta.
Un viaggio affascinante alla scoperta di vite straordinarie, che continuano a ispirare ancora oggi.

The Alta Castellana-Loria People's University presents the course "Figures of Exceptional Women," taught by Professor Liliana Contin.
The course will be dedicated to women explorers and travelers who, with courage and determination, challenged the limits of their time. From the French botanist Jeanne Baret, the first woman to circumnavigate the globe in the 18th century, to the writer and traveler Freya Stark, tireless explorer of the Middle East in the 20th century, the course will guide participants through stories, adventures, and testimonies that show how these figures were able to combine curiosity, resilience, and a love for discovery.

Die Università Popolare Alta Castellana-Loria präsentiert den Kurs „Herausragende Frauenfiguren“, geleitet von Professorin Liliana Contin.
Der Kurs wird Frauen gewidmet, die als Entdeckerinnen und Reisende mit Mut und Entschlossenheit die Grenzen ihrer Zeit herausgefordert haben. Von der französischen Botanikerin Jeanne Baret, der ersten Frau, die im 18. Jahrhundert die Welt umsegelt hat, bis zur Schriftstellerin und Reisenden Freya Stark, unermüdliche Entdeckerin des Nahen Ostens im 20. Jahrhundert, wird der Kurs die Teilnehmer durch Geschichten, Abenteuer und Zeugnisse begleiten, die zeigen, wie diese Frauen Neugier, Resilienz und Liebe zur Entdeckung vereinen konnten.
