I Percorsi della Memoria sono una manifestazione ideata dall’Associazione “Vajont, il futuro della Memoria” per promuovere la Memoria del disastro del 9 ottobre 1963.
È nota anche come Pedonata del Vajont: si tratta di una camminata che si snoda attraverso tratti di strade interrotti o distrutti nel disastro del Vajont, che storicamente fungevano da arterie di collegamento tra la valle del Piave, quella del Vajont e la Valcellina, e i sentieri, quali antiche vie di comunicazione a piedi per le genti di Casso, Erto, Castellavazzo e Longarone.
La manifestazione, che ogni anno si svolge a fine settembre e che richiama migliaia di persone da tutta Italia, è quindi un suggestivo passo indietro nel tempo, che permetterà ai partecipanti di attraversare i luoghi, e visitare manufatti, solitamente inaccessibili al pubblico, che hanno caratterizzato una delle pagine più drammatiche della nostra storia.
Per l’edizione 2025, a causa di interventi di manutenzione straordinaria sulla Via del Colomber, che collega in sinistra orografica il borgo di Dogna con il ponte tubo di fronte alla diga sulla forra del Vajont, l’organizzazione ha dovuto modificare il tracciato dei Percorsi.
Per garantire comunque il passaggio sul Ponte tubo il percorso si inoltra nella gola del Vajont seguendo un’antica via che risale la sponda in destra orografica, fino a raggiungere la dismessa cava di marna in località Pascoli.
Da qui il percorso si inoltra nella gola del Vajont, sempre in destra orografica, lungo le gallerie di servizio dell’ENEL, che si affacciano sulla forra sempre più profonda e stretta attraverso aperture nella roccia, fino a raggiungere il ponte tubo.
The Paths of Memory are a manifestation created by the Association "Vajont, the Future of Memory" to promote the memory of the disaster of October 9, 1963.
It is also known as the Vajont Walk: it is a hike that winds through stretches of roads interrupted or destroyed in the Vajont disaster, which historically served as arteries connecting the valley of Piave, that of Vajont and the Valcellina, and the paths, such as ancient ways of communication on foot for the people of Casso, Erto, Castellavazzo, and Longarone.
The event, which takes place at the end of September and attracts thousands of people from all over Italy, is therefore a suggestive step back in time, allowing participants to cross the places and visit artifacts, usually inaccessible to the public, that characterized one of the most dramatic pages of our history.
For the 2025 edition, due to extraordinary maintenance work on the Via del Colomber, which connects on the left bank the village of Dogna with the tube bridge in front of the dam on the gorge of Vajont, the organization had to modify the course of the Paths.
To ensure passage over the tube bridge, the route ventures into the gorge of Vajont following an ancient path that rises along the right bank, until reaching the disused clay pit in the Pascoli area.
From here the route continues into the gorge of Vajont, always on the right bank, along the service tunnels of ENEL, which overlook the increasingly deep and narrow gorge through openings in the rock, until reaching the tube bridge.
Die Pfade der Erinnerung sind eine Veranstaltung, die von der Vereinigung „Vajont, die Zukunft der Erinnerung“ ins Leben gerufen wurde, um das Gedächtnis an die Katastrophe vom 9. Oktober 1963 zu fördern.
Sie ist auch bekannt als Pedonata del Vajont: es handelt sich um einen Spaziergang, der durch Abschnitte von Straßen führt, die bei der Katastrophe des Vajont unterbrochen oder zerstört wurden, die historisch als Verbindungsadern zwischen dem Tal des Piave, dem des Vajont und der Valcellina dienten, sowie den Wegen, die alte Fußwege für die Menschen von Casso, Erto, Castellavazzo und Longarone waren.
Die Veranstaltung, die jedes Jahr Ende September stattfindet und Tausende von Menschen aus ganz Italien anzieht, ist somit ein reizvoller Schritt zurück in die Vergangenheit, der den Teilnehmern ermöglichen wird, die Orte zu durchqueren und in der Regel für die Öffentlichkeit unzugängliche Artefakte zu besuchen, die eine der dramatischsten Seiten unserer Geschichte geprägt haben.
Für die Ausgabe 2025 musste aufgrund von außergewöhnlichen Wartungsarbeiten an der Via del Colomber, die das Dorf Dogna mit der Rohrbrücke gegenüber dem Damm an der Schlucht des Vajont auf der linken Seite des Flusses verbindet, die Organisation die Route der Pfade ändern.
Um dennoch den Durchgang über die Rohrbrücke zu gewährleisten, führt der Weg in die Schlucht des Vajont und folgt einem alten Pfad, der das Ufer auf der rechten Flussseite hinaufführt, bis er den stillgelegten Marnenbruch in der Gegend von Pascoli erreicht.
Von hier führt der Weg in die Schlucht des Vajont, immer auf der rechten Flussseite, entlang der Service-Galerien von ENEL, die sich über die immer tiefer und enger werdende Schlucht durch Öffnungen im Fels entfalten, bis er die Rohrbrücke erreicht.
