Dal 18 al 27 settembre 2026 Jesolo diventerà il punto di riferimento mondiale della kickboxing giovanile ospitando i Campionati Mondiali Giovanili WAKO, uno degli appuntamenti più importanti del calendario internazionale.
Per dieci giorni il Palazzo del Turismo di Piazza Brescia sarà il cuore della manifestazione, accogliendo migliaia di giovani atleti, tecnici, accompagnatori e appassionati provenienti da oltre 60 nazioni e cinque continenti.
La competizione è riservata alle categorie Children, Cadets e Juniors e rappresenta un'occasione unica per vedere all'opera i migliori talenti emergenti di questa disciplina. Assegnata inizialmente alla Bulgaria, la rassegna iridata è stata successivamente affidata all'Italia dopo la decisione del Consiglio Direttivo WAKO presa ad Abu Dhabi nel dicembre 2025.
Durante l'evento gli atleti si confronteranno nelle specialità da tatami – Point Fighting, Light Contact, Kick Light e Musical Forms – e nelle discipline da ring, tra cui Full Contact, Low Kick e K1-Style, regalando al pubblico giornate ricche di tecnica, spettacolo e adrenalina.
Un appuntamento internazionale che conferma ancora una volta Jesolo come una delle principali destinazioni europee per i grandi eventi sportivi.
From September 18 to 27, 2026, Jesolo will become the global reference point for youth kickboxing, hosting the WAKO World Youth Championships, one of the most important events on the international calendar.
For ten days, the Palazzo del Turismo in Piazza Brescia will be the heart of the event, welcoming thousands of young athletes, coaches, companions, and fans from over 60 nations and five continents.
The competition is reserved for the Children, Cadets, and Juniors categories and represents a unique opportunity to see the best emerging talents in this discipline in action. Initially awarded to Bulgaria, the world championships were later entrusted to Italy following the decision of the WAKO Executive Board made in Abu Dhabi in December 2025.
During the event, athletes will compete in tatami disciplines – Point Fighting, Light Contact, Kick Light, and Musical Forms – and in ring disciplines, including Full Contact, Low Kick, and K1-Style, offering the audience days filled with technique, spectacle, and adrenaline.
An international event that once again confirms Jesolo as one of the leading European destinations for major sporting events.
Vom 18. bis 27. September 2026 wird Jesolo zum weltweiten Zentrum des Jugendkickboxens und hostet die WAKO-Weltmeisterschaften der Jugend, eine der wichtigsten Veranstaltungen im internationalen Kalender.
Für zehn Tage wird der Palazzo del Turismo am Piazza Brescia das Herzstück der Veranstaltung sein und Tausende von jungen Athleten, Trainern, Begleitern und Fans aus über 60 Nationen und fünf Kontinenten willkommen heißen.
Der Wettbewerb ist für die Kategorien Kinder, Kadetten und Junioren reserviert und stellt eine einzigartige Gelegenheit dar, die besten aufstrebenden Talente dieser Disziplin zu sehen. Ursprünglich für Bulgarien vergeben, wurde die Weltmeisterschaft nach der Entscheidung des WAKO-Vorstands im Dezember 2025 in Abu Dhabi anschließend an Italien übertragen.
Während der Veranstaltung werden die Athleten in den Teppichspezialitäten – Point Fighting, Light Contact, Kick Light und Musical Forms – sowie in den Ringdisziplinen, darunter Full Contact, Low Kick und K1-Style, gegeneinander antreten und dem Publikum Tage voller Technik, Spektakel und Adrenalin bieten.
Ein internationales Event, das Jesolo einmal mehr als eines der führenden europäischen Ziele für große Sportveranstaltungen bestätigt.
