La manifestazione “Illasi Terra d’Olivi” nasce dal desiderio di promuovere uno dei prodotti tipici del nostro territorio, l’olio, e a tal proposito è stata pensata sull’intera durata del mese di novembre, mese caratteristico della raccolta e molitura dell’oliva. La manifestazione vede coinvolte diverse realtà: produttive, commerciali, turistico-ricettive e culturali al fine di accentrare l’interesse sull’olio extravergine e il suo processo produttivo dalla raccolta della materia prima all’imbottigliamento in modo da valorizzarlo in maniera completa e farlo conoscere a tutte le fasce di età.
La manifestazione inizia con domenica 27 ottobre, giornata nazionale della “Camminata tra gli Olivi”, istituita dall’Associazione “Città dell’Olio”, alla quale il Comune di Illasi aderisce e che per l'ottavo anno propone una camminata organizzata tra gli olivi secolari. Al termine della camminata, risotto ed assaggi d'olio extravergine.
Durante tutto il mese di novembre, presso i ristoranti di Illasi e Cellore sarà possibile degustare gli oli extravergine dei frantoi illasiani presentati con la “Carta degli Oli”, un menù degli oli predisposto per l’occasione nel quale vengono proposti con le loro caratteristiche: tutta la clientela potrà scegliere e degustare l’olio come entrée su bruschette di pane. Per tutta la durata del mese di novembre, inoltre i frantoi accoglieranno a gruppi i ragazzi delle scuole per la visita al frantoio e la Biblioteca disporrà di un angolo dedicato all’olio, per suggerire delle letture dedicate.
Venerdì 8 novembre alle ore 20:30 presso il Giardino Musicale ad Illasi si terrà: una serata e seminario di degustazione dell'olio extravergine di Illasi a cura di Francesco Amato sommlier dell'Olio "RISVEGLIARE I SENSI: VISTA-GUSTO-OLFATTO PER UNA DEGUSTAZIONE DI QUALITA'".
Sabato 9 novembre alle ore 10:00 presso la Biblioteca Comunale di Illasi si terrà: l'incontro con l'autore Francesco Amato e Laborat_Olio "LE AVVENTURE DI OLIVER E L'ARTE SEGRETA DELL'OLIO DI OLIVA".
Domenica 10 novembre nel territorio del comune di Illasi si terrà: "TREKKING GUIDATI CON DEGUSTAZIONE AI FRANTOI" organizzati da Consorzio Olio EVO Veneto Valpolicella DOP.
Venerdì 15 novembre alle ore 19:30 presso il Ristorante "VILLA ARAZZI" a Cellore si terrà: "INCONTRIAMO L'OLIO A CENA" aperitivo con i produttori d'olio extravergine di oliva di Illasi a seguire cena con menù fisso.
Sabato 16 novembre alle ore 20:00 presso la tensostruttura di Illasi la PRO LOCO di Illasi proporrà un’edizione speciale della tradizionale serata “Lesso e Pearà”, che quest’anno prevede un menù arricchito dalla presenza dell’olio nuovo.
Nello stesso weekend, 16 e 17 novembre Illasi ospiterà: “Olio in Camper” è un weekend organizzato in collaborazione con Valdillasi Camper Club e Pro Loco di Illasi per la scoperta dell’olio di Illasi rivolto ai camperisti.
Domenica 17 novembre ci sarànno il mercatino di prodotti tipici e il trenino turistico per la visita del centro storico di Illasi.
Venerdì 22 novembre alle ore 20:30 presso il Giardino Musicale ad Illasi si terrà: un convegno "OLIO ELISI DI BUONA VITA" con la partecipazione del prof. Marco Trabucchi ed il prof. Roberto Vettor modera la giornalista Laura Peloso. The event “Illasi Terra d’Olivi” was born from the desire to promote one of the typical products of our territory, oil, and for this purpose it was conceived for the entire duration of the month of November, the characteristic month of the harvest and milling of olives. The event involves various realities: production, commercial, tourist-receptive and cultural in order to focus the interest on extra virgin olive oil and its production process from the harvesting of the raw material to bottling in order to enhance it in a complete way and make it known to all age groups.
The event begins on Sunday 27 October, the national day of the “Walk among the Olives”, established by the Association “Città dell’Olio”, to which the Municipality of Illasi adheres and which for the eighth year proposes an organized walk among the centuries-old olive trees. At the end of the walk, risotto and tastings of extra virgin olive oil.
Throughout the month of November, at the restaurants of Illasi and Cellore it will be possible to taste the extra virgin olive oils of the Illasian mills presented with the “Carta degli Oli”, a menu of oils prepared for the occasion in which they are proposed with their characteristics: all customers will be able to choose and taste the oil as an entrée on bruschetta. For the entire duration of the month of November, the mills will also welcome groups of school children for visits to the mill and the Library will have a corner dedicated to oil, to suggest dedicated readings.
Friday 8 November at 8:30 pm at the Musical Garden in Illasi there will be: an evening and tasting seminar of the extra virgin olive oil of Illasi by Francesco Amato sommelier of the Oil "AWAKENING THE SENSES: SIGHT-TASTE-SMELL FOR A QUALITY TASTING".
Saturday 9th November at 10:00 am at the Illasi Municipal Library there will be: the meeting with the author Francesco Amato and Laborat_Olio "OLIVER'S ADVENTURES AND THE SECRET ART OF OLIVE OIL".
Sunday 10th November in the territory of the municipality of Illasi there will be: "GUIDED TREKKING WITH TASTING AT THE OIL OIL PRESSES" organized by the Consorzio Olio EVO Veneto Valpolicella DOP.
Friday 15th November at 7:30 pm at the "VILLA ARAZZI" Restaurant in Cellore there will be: "LET'S MEET THE OIL AT DINNER" aperitif with the producers of extra virgin olive oil of Illasi followed by dinner with a fixed menu.
On Saturday, November 16th at 8:00 pm at the Illasi marquee, the PRO LOCO of Illasi will propose a special edition of the traditional evening "Lesso e Pearà", which this year includes a menu enriched by the presence of the new oil.
On the same weekend, November 16th and 17th, Illasi will host: "Olio in Camper" is a weekend organized in collaboration with Valdillasi Camper Club and Pro Loco of Illasi for the discovery of Illasi oil aimed at campers.
On Sunday, November 17th there will be a market of typical products and a tourist train to visit the historic center of Illasi.
On Friday, November 22nd at 8:30 pm at the Musical Garden in Illasi there will be: a conference "OLIO ELISI DI BUONA VITA" with the participation of Prof. Marco Trabucchi and Prof. Roberto Vettor moderated by the journalist Laura Peloso.
