"Su, in Malga!" 2026: Natura, Territorio e Sapori a Gallio

Nelle giornate di sabato 25 e domenica 26 luglio 2026, il Comune di Gallio ospiterà l'evento "Su, in Malga!", un fine settimana dedicato alla valorizzazione del territorio e delle sue eccellenze gastronomiche, organizzato nell'ambito del progetto europeo LIFE VAIA. L'iniziativa nasce con l'obiettivo di far conoscere da vicino la realtà delle malghe e i progetti di tutela ambientale attivi sull'Altopiano.

Mostra Mercato ed Esperienze Sensoriali

Il cuore della manifestazione è rappresentato dall'Esposizione e vendita dei prodotti delle malghe appartenenti al circuito "La Via delle Malghe". In entrambe le giornate, a partire dalle ore 09:00, saranno aperti gli stand (allestiti nelle tipiche casette in legno) dove i visitatori potranno scoprire e acquistare i prodotti d'alpeggio e le specialità di Rigoni di Asiago.

Per chi desidera approfondire la conoscenza dei prodotti locali attraverso i sensi, nel tardo pomeriggio di sabato e domenica (dalle 18:00 alle 19:00, presso la Sala Verde) si terrà "I sensi del gusto": una degustazione guidata dedicata a miele, marmellate e formaggi. L'attività è realizzata in collaborazione con la Fondazione Edmund Mach e il Caseificio Pennar di Asiago. Poiché i posti sono limitati (massimo 25 partecipanti), la prenotazione è obbligatoria e va effettuata entro il 3 luglio 2026 scrivendo a patrimonio@comune.gallio.vi.it.

Il Progetto LIFE VAIA e le Visite Guidate

L'evento offre anche importanti momenti di approfondimento scientifico incentrati sulla ricostruzione e la valorizzazione del patrimonio boschivo dopo la tempesta Vaia:

  • Sabato 25 luglio (ore 10:00 - 12:00): Presso la Sala consiliare del Municipio di Gallio si terrà la presentazione ufficiale del Progetto LIFE VAIA. All'incontro interverranno il Sindaco di Gallio, i rappresentanti di Rigoni di Asiago srl e Veneto Agricoltura, il dottore forestale Marco Sambugaro e il dottor Paolo Fontana della Fondazione Edmund Mach.

  • Sabato e Domenica (ore 14:00): È prevista una visita guidata all'area pilota IT4 del progetto LIFE VAIA, situata in località Monte Longara. La visita permetterà di osservare gli interventi sul campo accompagnati da personale specializzato. Per partecipare è disponibile il servizio di trasporto Hust, con partenza davanti al Municipio di Gallio.

Tradizioni Locali e Attività per Bambini

Domenica 26 luglio, alle ore 10:00 in Piazza Italia, l'appuntamento è con la tradizione grazie alla Dimostrazione casearia a cura dell'Associazione "Le Terre Alte", un'occasione per assistere dal vivo alle storiche tecniche di lavorazione del formaggio.

Un ampio spazio è stato riservato anche ai più piccoli, con quattro Laboratori per Bambini curati dall'entomologo Paolo Fontana (Fondazione Edmund Mach) presso la Sala Verde:

  • Sabato 25: Missione Custodi della Natura (ore 10:30, incentrato sui piccoli frutti) e Missione albero di nocciolo (ore 14:00, dedicato a natura e tradizione).

  • Domenica 26: Missione hotel per insetti (ore 10:30, per scoprire gli alleati della biodiversità) e Missione paladini delle api (ore 14:00, dedicato all'impollinazione e al miele di montagna).

"Up, in the Malga!" 2026: Nature, Territory, and Flavors in Gallio

On the days of Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26, 2026, the Municipality of Gallio will host the event "Up, in the Malga!", a weekend dedicated to enhancing the territory and its gastronomic excellences, organized as part of the European project LIFE VAIA. The initiative aims to closely showcase the reality of malghe and the active environmental protection projects in the Plateau.

Market Exhibition and Sensory Experiences

The heart of the event is represented by the Exhibition and sale of malga products belonging to the "The Path of the Malghe" circuit. On both days, starting from 9:00 a.m., the stands (set up in typical wooden huts) will be open, where visitors can discover and purchase alpine products and specialties from Rigoni di Asiago.

For those who wish to deepen their knowledge of local products through the senses, in the late afternoon of Saturday and Sunday (from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Green Room) the event "The Senses of Taste" will be held: a guided tasting dedicated to honey, jams, and cheeses. The activity is carried out in collaboration with the Edmund Mach Foundation and the Pennar Dairy of Asiago. Since the places are limited (maximum 25 participants), reservation is mandatory and must be made by July 3, 2026, by writing to patrimonio@comune.gallio.vi.it.

The LIFE VAIA Project and Guided Tours

The event also offers important moments of scientific deepening focused on the reconstruction and enhancement of the forest heritage after the Vaia storm:

  • Saturday, July 25 (10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.): At the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Gallio, the official presentation of the LIFE VAIA Project will be held. The meeting will feature the Mayor of Gallio, representatives from Rigoni di Asiago srl and Veneto Agricoltura, forest doctor Marco Sambugaro, and Dr. Paolo Fontana of the Edmund Mach Foundation.

  • Saturday and Sunday (2:00 p.m.): A guided tour of the pilot area IT4 of the LIFE VAIA project, located in Monte Longara, is planned. The visit will allow participants to observe field interventions accompanied by specialized personnel. The Hust transport service is available to participate, departing in front of the Municipality of Gallio.

Local Traditions and Activities for Children

On Sunday, July 26, at 10:00 a.m. in Piazza Italia, the appointment with tradition is via the Dairy Demonstration organized by the “Le Terre Alte” Association, an opportunity to witness historic cheese-making techniques live.

A large space has also been reserved for the little ones, with four Children's Workshops curated by entomologist Paolo Fontana (Edmund Mach Foundation) at the Green Room:

  • Saturday, July 25: Mission Guardians of Nature (10:30 a.m., focused on small fruits) and Hazelnut Tree Mission (2:00 p.m., dedicated to nature and tradition).

  • Sunday, July 26: Insect Hotel Mission (10:30 a.m., to discover allies of biodiversity) and Bee Champions Mission (2:00 p.m., dedicated to pollination and mountain honey).

"Hoch, auf die Alm!" 2026: Natur, Gebiet und Geschmäcker in Gallio

An den Tagen von Samstag, dem 25. und Sonntag, dem 26. Juli 2026 wird die Gemeinde Gallio die Veranstaltung "Hoch, auf die Alm!" ausrichten, ein Wochenende, das der Wertschätzung des Gebiets und seiner gastronomischen Exzellenzen gewidmet ist, organisiert im Rahmen des europäischen Projekts LIFE VAIA. Die Initiative zielt darauf ab, die Realität der Almen und die aktiven Umweltschutzprojekte im Hochland näher kennenzulernen.

Markt Ausstellung und Sinneserlebnisse

Das Herzstück der Veranstaltung ist die Ausstellung und der Verkauf von Produkten der Almen, die zum Netzwerk "Der Weg der Almen" gehören. An beiden Tagen werden ab 09:00 Uhr die Stände (in typischen Holzchalets) geöffnet sein, wo die Besucher die Produkte der Alm und die Spezialitäten von Rigoni di Asiago entdecken und kaufen können.

Für diejenigen, die die lokalen Produkte durch die Sinne besser kennenlernen möchten, findet am Samstag- und Sonntagnachmittag (von 18:00 bis 19:00 Uhr, im Grünen Saal) "Die Sinne des Geschmacks" statt: eine geführte Verkostung, die Honig, Marmelade und Käse gewidmet ist. Die Aktivität wird in Zusammenarbeit mit der Stiftung Edmund Mach und der Käserei Pennar in Asiago durchgeführt. Da die Plätze begrenzt sind (maximal 25 Teilnehmer), ist eine Anmeldung erforderlich und muss bis zum 3. Juli 2026 per E-Mail an patrimonio@comune.gallio.vi.it erfolgen.

Das Projekt LIFE VAIA und die Führungen

Die Veranstaltung bietet auch wichtige wissenschaftliche Vertiefungsmomente, die sich auf die Wiederherstellung und Wertschätzung des Waldes nach dem Sturm Vaia konzentrieren:

  • Samstag, der 25. Juli (10:00 - 12:00 Uhr): Im Sitzungssaal des Rathauses von Gallio findet die offizielle Präsentation des Projekts LIFE VAIA statt. Bei dem Treffen werden der Bürgermeister von Gallio, die Vertreter von Rigoni di Asiago srl und Veneto Agricoltura, der Förster Marco Sambugaro und Dr. Paolo Fontana von der Stiftung Edmund Mach teilnehmen.

  • Samstag und Sonntag (14:00 Uhr): Es ist eine Führung durch das Pilotgebiet IT4 des Projekts LIFE VAIA geplant, das sich in der Gegend von Monte Longara befindet. Die Führung ermöglicht es, die Maßnahmen vor Ort mit Fachpersonal zu beobachten. Für die Teilnahme steht der Transportdienst Hust zur Verfügung, mit Abfahrt vor dem Rathaus von Gallio.

Lokale Traditionen und Aktivitäten für Kinder

Am Sonntag, dem 26. Juli, um 10:00 Uhr auf der Piazza Italia, trifft man sich mit der Tradition dank der Käsevorführung der Vereinigung "Le Terre Alte", eine Gelegenheit, die historischen Käseherstellungstechniken live zu erleben.

Ein großer Bereich ist auch den Kleinen gewidmet, mit vier Workshops für Kinder, die von dem Entomologen Paolo Fontana (Stiftung Edmund Mach) im Grünen Saal geleitet werden:

  • Samstag, der 25.: Mission Naturwächter (10:30 Uhr, fokussiert auf die kleinen Früchte) und Mission Haselnussbaum (14:00 Uhr, gewidmet der Natur und Tradition).

  • Sonntag, der 26.: Mission Insektenhotel (10:30 Uhr, um die Verbündeten der Biodiversität zu entdecken) und Mission Bienenhelden (14:00 Uhr, gewidmet der Bestäubung und dem Berg-Honig).
