Il tranquillo paese di Roana, sull’Altopiano di Asiago, la cui vita scorre solitamente imperturbabile, balza improvvisamente agli onori delle cronache per un fatto drammatico: la scomparsa del piccolo Matteo, un bambino di sei anni, che un giorno non fa ritorno da scuola. Il comandante Angelo Scarpa si lancia immediatamente nelle indagini, cercando di sciogliere un enigma che tiene tutti con il fiato sospeso. Nel breve volgere di poche ore, un altro evento catalizza l’attenzione della comunità: il professor Pallavicini, noto docente universitario del luogo, annuncia di aver scoperto la cura per il cancro, suscitando l’interesse di tutta la nazione. Spettatore privilegiato e narratore di queste vicende è Daniel, uno scrittore che, in cerca d’ispirazione, trascorre le sue giornate al bar del paese, scoprendo e svelando pian piano l’oscuro passato che molti degli abitanti sembrano nascondere… Lo scrittore di segreti sepolti è un romanzo sapientemente costruito, dove il giallo si fonde con il thriller psicologico, catturando il lettore sin dalle prime pagine in una trama avvincente e densa di colpi di scena. Attraverso un labirinto di flashback, la storia svela gradualmente i segreti della piccola comunità di Roana, conducendo il lettore verso un finale sorprendente, dove ogni tassello del puzzle trova finalmente il suo posto.
Nicola Piovesan è nato a Vicenza nel 1966. Laureato in Farmacia, ha affrontato l’esperienza giornalistica scrivendo per il quotidiano “Sport Vicentino”. È diplomato in sceneggiatura cinematografica presso Studio Cinema International. Ha già pubblicato: L’ombra del destino (2014), Il dossier Urania (2015), La battaglia degli anticorpi (2016), Primo (2016), Il sesto passo (2020). Ha ricevuto il primo premio assoluto al Concorso Letterario Nazionale “Nero su Bianco” (2016), al Concorso Letterario Nazionale “Vittorio Alfieri” (2017 e 2021) e il premio “miglior narrativa” ai Mr. Hyde Awards (2021). Ha ottenuto importanti riconoscimenti dall’Accademia Internazionale d’Arte Moderna di Roma (2016), al Premio Nazionale di Arti Letterarie di Torino (2016) e agli Holmes Awards di Napoli (2017). Il suo romanzo, Il sesto passo, è stato finalista al Premio Zingarelli (2022).

In the span of just a few hours, another event captivates the community’s attention: Professor Pallavicini, a well-known university teacher of the area, announces that he has discovered the cure for cancer, sparking interest throughout the nation. A privileged observer and narrator of these events is Daniel, a writer who, in search of inspiration, spends his days at the village bar, discovering and gradually revealing the dark past that many of the residents seem to hide… The writer of buried secrets is a skillfully crafted novel, where the mystery blends with psychological thriller, capturing the reader from the very first pages in a compelling plot filled with twists and turns. Through a labyrinth of flashbacks, the story gradually unveils the secrets of the small community of Roana, leading the reader towards a surprising ending, where every piece of the puzzle finally finds its place.
Nicola Piovesan was born in Vicenza in 1966. Graduated in Pharmacy, he has delved into journalism by writing for the daily newspaper “Sport Vicentino”. He has a diploma in screenwriting from Studio Cinema International. He has already published: The Shadow of Destiny (2014), The Urania Dossier (2015), The Battle of Antibodies (2016), First (2016), The Sixth Step (2020). He won the absolute first prize at the National Literary Competition “Nero su Bianco” (2016), at the National Literary Competition “Vittorio Alfieri” (2017 and 2021) and the “Best Narrative” award at the Mr. Hyde Awards (2021). He has received significant accolades from the International Academy of Modern Art in Rome (2016), at the National Literary Arts Prize in Turin (2016), and at the Holmes Awards in Naples (2017). His novel, The Sixth Step, was a finalist for the Zingarelli Prize (2022).

Das ruhige Dorf Roana, auf dem Hochplateau von Asiago, dessen Leben normalerweise ungestört verläuft, gelangt plötzlich in die Schlagzeilen wegen eines dramatischen Vorfalls: das Verschwinden des kleinen Matteo, eines sechsjährigen Jungen, der eines Tages nicht von der Schule zurückkehrt. Kommandant Angelo Scarpa beginnt sofort mit den Ermittlungen und versucht, ein Rätsel zu lösen, das alle in Atem hält. Innerhalb weniger Stunden zieht ein weiteres Ereignis die Aufmerksamkeit der Gemeinschaft auf sich: Professor Pallavicini, ein bekannter Universitätsdozent der Gegend, kündigt an, ein Heilmittel gegen Krebs entdeckt zu haben, was das Interesse des gesamten Landes weckt. Bevorzugter Zuschauer und Erzähler dieser Ereignisse ist Daniel, ein Schriftsteller, der auf der Suche nach Inspiration seine Tage in der Bar des Dorfes verbringt und langsam die dunkle Vergangenheit entdeckt und enthüllt, die viele der Einwohner zu verbergen scheinen... Der Schriftsteller der vergrabenen Geheimnisse ist ein meisterhaft konstruierten Roman, in dem der Krimi mit dem psychologischen Thriller verschmilzt und den Leser von den ersten Seiten an in eine fesselnde und dichte Handlung voller Wendungen zieht. Durch ein Labyrinth von Rückblenden enthüllt die Geschichte allmählich die Geheimnisse der kleinen Gemeinschaft von Roana und führt den Leser zu einem überraschenden Ende, in dem jedes Puzzlestück schließlich seinen Platz findet.

Er erhielt wichtige Auszeichnungen von der Internationalen Akademie für Moderne Kunst in Rom (2016), beim Nationalen Preis für Literarische Künste in Turin (2016) und bei den Holmes Awards in Neapel (2017). Sein Roman, Il sesto passo, war Finalist beim Premio Zingarelli (2022).
