Visti i tempi bui che stiamo vivendo e i rischi globali che il mondo sta correndo, ho pensato che fosse il momento di indagare quali siano le cause ancestrali che spingono l’uomo a continuare a creare conflitti e guerre. La ricerca parte analizzando la vita nelle forme più elementari per capire gli equilibri che le permettono di perpetuarsi. Capite queste regole, si tratta di vedere come si siano trasferite nel mondo animale per essere adottate infine dai primati e quindi dall’uomo. Ma è lecito chiedersi se queste regole possano essere considerate valide anche oggi che l’uomo si è costruito armi in grado di distruggere la vita sulla terra. Sono solo avidità e brama di potere? Eppure l’uomo è capace di solidarietà, sussidiarietà, cooperazione, aiuto reciproco. La guerra è un fenomeno esclusivamente umano ed è attraverso un inquadramento culturale che ne indichi gli aspetti psicologici, filosofici, sociologici e quindi antropologici, che se ne può capire la natura e quindi tutto l’anacronismo che la permea, ma che tuttavia non le impedisce di alimentarsi anche in quest’epoca di armi di distruzione di massa. Il libro cerca di descrivere le varie componenti che entrano in gioco in un conflitto armato, dai servizi segreti, ai vari tipi di armamenti ed anche le pratiche che vengono usate per indebolire o neutralizzare il nemico. In questo libro propendo nettamente per la tesi secondo la quale è sviluppando al meglio le qualità umane di empatia, di con – passione e di autentico altruismo che il genere umano potrà dar vita a un uomo nuovo.

Given the dark times we are living in and the global risks the world is facing, I thought it was time to investigate what the ancestral causes are that drive man to continue creating conflicts and wars. The research starts by analyzing life in its most elemental forms to understand the balances that allow it to perpetuate. Once these rules are understood, it is a matter of seeing how they have transferred into the animal world to eventually be adopted by primates and then by humans. But it is legitimate to ask whether these rules can still be considered valid today, as man has built weapons capable of destroying life on earth. Is it just greed and a thirst for power? Yet, man is capable of solidarity, subsidiarity, cooperation, and mutual aid. War is an exclusively human phenomenon, and it is through a cultural framework that one indicates its psychological, philosophical, sociological, and thus anthropological aspects, which allows us to understand its nature and all the anachronism that permeates it, but which nevertheless does not prevent it from being sustained even in this age of mass destruction weapons. The book attempts to describe the various components involved in an armed conflict, from intelligence services to various types of armaments, and even the practices used to weaken or neutralize the enemy. In this book, I strongly lean towards the thesis that by best developing human qualities of empathy, compassion, and authentic altruism, humankind can give rise to a new man.

Angesichts der dunklen Zeiten, in denen wir leben, und der globalen Risiken, denen die Welt ausgesetzt ist, dachte ich, dass es an der Zeit sei, die uralten Ursachen zu untersuchen, die den Menschen dazu treiben, weiterhin Konflikte und Kriege zu schaffen. Die Forschung beginnt mit der Analyse des Lebens in seinen elementarsten Formen, um die Gleichgewichte zu verstehen, die es ermöglichen, sich fortzupflanzen. Wenn man diese Regeln versteht, muss man sehen, wie sie in die Tierwelt übertragen wurden, um schließlich von den Primaten und dann vom Menschen übernommen zu werden. Aber es ist legitim zu fragen, ob diese Regeln heute noch gültig sind, jetzt, da der Mensch Waffen geschaffen hat, die in der Lage sind, das Leben auf der Erde zu vernichten. Sind es nur Gier und Machtstreben? Und doch ist der Mensch fähig zu Solidarität, Subsidiarität, Kooperation, gegenseitiger Hilfe. Der Krieg ist ein ausschließlich menschliches Phänomen, und es ist durch einen kulturellen Rahmen, der die psychologischen, philosophischen, soziologischen und damit anthropologischen Aspekte anzeigt, dass man seine Natur und damit das gesamte Anachronismus, das ihn durchdringt, verstehen kann. Dennoch hindert dies ihn nicht daran, auch in dieser Zeit der Massenvernichtungswaffen Nährboden zu finden. Das Buch versucht, die verschiedenen Komponenten zu beschreiben, die in einen bewaffneten Konflikt einfließen, von den Geheimdiensten über die verschiedenen Arten von Waffen bis hin zu den Praktiken, die verwendet werden, um den Feind zu schwächen oder zu neutralisieren. In diesem Buch neige ich deutlich zu der These, dass es durch die bestmögliche Entwicklung der menschlichen Qualitäten von Empathie, Mitgefühl und echtem Altruismus ist, dass die Menschheit einen neuen Menschen hervorbringen kann.
