In occasione dell’International Museum Day, celebrato annualmente sotto il coordinamento dell’ICOM – International Council of Museums, Villa Badoer aderisce all’iniziativa proponendo una giornata dedicata alle famiglie e ai più giovani, con attività volte a promuovere la partecipazione culturale, la creatività e la valorizzazione del patrimonio storico-artistico.
L’International Museum Day nasce con l’obiettivo di evidenziare il ruolo dei musei come istituzioni al servizio della società, capaci di favorire dialogo, inclusione, educazione e condivisione culturale.
Il tema scelto per l’edizione 2026, “Musei che uniscono un mondo diviso”, richiama l’importanza dei musei quali spazi pubblici affidabili e accessibili, nei quali le persone possono entrare in contatto con storie, oggetti e tra loro, contribuendo alla costruzione di relazioni fondate sulla conoscenza e sul rispetto reciproco. In quanto luoghi di apprendimento e partecipazione, i musei svolgono infatti un ruolo fondamentale nel favorire il dialogo tra generazioni, comunità e culture differenti, contrastando fenomeni di frammentazione sociale e disuguaglianza nell’accesso alla cultura.
Attraverso esperienze condivise e inclusive, essi contribuiscono a rafforzare il senso di appartenenza, la comprensione reciproca e la convivenza pacifica, all’interno delle comunità e oltre i confini territoriali. Il tema accompagnerà inoltre le celebrazioni per l’80º anniversario dell’ICOM, previste nel corso dell’anno.
In questo contesto, AquaLab propone un ciclo di laboratori artistici e creativi destinati ai bambini dai 5 ai 10 anni, pensati per avvicinare i più piccoli al patrimonio culturale della villa attraverso attività manuali, educative e coinvolgenti.
La mattina, alle ore 10.00, si svolgerà il laboratorio TECNOVILLA, dedicato alla scoperta dell’architettura di Villa Badoer attraverso la realizzazione di un biglietto pop-up ispirato alle forme e alle geometrie della villa palladiana. L’attività intende stimolare nei partecipanti l’osservazione dello spazio architettonico e la reinterpretazione creativa degli elementi monumentali attraverso il linguaggio del gioco e della manualità.
Nel pomeriggio, alle ore 15.00, avrà luogo il laboratorio SEGRETI DIPINTI, incentrato sulla decorazione artistica e sulla scoperta delle grottesche. I bambini realizzeranno una personale decorazione dipinta su argilla, sperimentando tecniche creative ispirate ai motivi ornamentali della tradizione artistica e sviluppando un approccio diretto e partecipativo all’arte decorativa.
Entrambi i laboratori avranno una durata di circa un’ora, con ritrovo presso la biglietteria di Villa Badoer. Per l’intera giornata sarà inoltre applicata la tariffa d’ingresso ridotta a tutti i visitatori, salvo diritto alla gratuità.

On the occasion of International Museum Day, celebrated annually under the coordination of ICOM – International Council of Museums, Villa Badoer joins the initiative by proposing a day dedicated to families and young people, with activities aimed at promoting cultural participation, creativity, and the enhancement of the historical-artistic heritage.
International Museum Day was created with the goal of highlighting the role of museums as institutions at the service of society, capable of fostering dialogue, inclusion, education, and cultural sharing.
The theme chosen for the 2026 edition, “Museums that unite a divided world,” emphasizes the importance of museums as reliable and accessible public spaces, where people can connect with stories, objects, and each other, contributing to the building of relationships based on knowledge and mutual respect. As places of learning and participation, museums indeed play a fundamental role in promoting dialogue between generations, communities, and different cultures, countering phenomena of social fragmentation and inequality in access to culture.
Through shared and inclusive experiences, they contribute to strengthening the sense of belonging, mutual understanding, and peaceful coexistence within communities and across territorial boundaries. The theme will also accompany the celebrations for ICOM's 80th anniversary, scheduled throughout the year.
In this context, AquaLab proposes a series of artistic and creative workshops aimed at children aged 5 to 10 years, designed to introduce the little ones to the cultural heritage of the villa through hands-on, educational, and engaging activities.
In the morning, at 10.00 a.m., the workshop TECNOVILLA will take place, dedicated to discovering the architecture of Villa Badoer through the creation of a pop-up card inspired by the shapes and geometries of the Palladian villa. The activity aims to stimulate participants' observation of architectural space and the creative reinterpretation of monumental elements through the language of play and hands-on activities.
In the afternoon, at 3.00 p.m., the workshop SEGRETI DIPINTI will be held, focused on artistic decoration and the discovery of grotesques. The children will create a personal painted decoration on clay, experimenting with creative techniques inspired by the ornamental motifs of artistic tradition and developing a direct and participatory approach to decorative art.
Both workshops will last about an hour, meeting at the ticket office of Villa Badoer. For the entire day, a reduced admission fee will also be applied to all visitors, except for those entitled to free entry.

Anlässlich des Internationalen Museumstags, der jährlich unter der Koordination des ICOM – International Council of Museums gefeiert wird, nimmt die Villa Badoer an der Initiative teil und bietet einen Tag für Familien und die Jüngeren an, mit Aktivitäten, die darauf abzielen, die kulturelle Teilhabe, Kreativität und die Wertschätzung des historischen und künstlerischen Erbes zu fördern.
Der Internationale Museumstag wurde mit dem Ziel ins Leben gerufen, die Rolle von Museen als Institutionen im Dienste der Gesellschaft hervorzuheben, die den Dialog, die Integration, die Bildung und den kulturellen Austausch fördern können.
Das für die Ausgabe 2026 gewählte Thema, “Museen, die eine geteilte Welt verbinden”, erinnert an die Bedeutung von Museen als zuverlässige und zugängliche öffentliche Räume, in denen Menschen mit Geschichten, Objekten und miteinander in Kontakt treten können, was zur Schaffung von Beziehungen auf Basis von Wissen und gegenseitigem Respekt beiträgt. Als Orte des Lernens und der Teilhabe spielen Museen tatsächlich eine grundlegende Rolle bei der Förderung des Dialogs zwischen Generationen, Gemeinschaften und unterschiedlichen Kulturen, indem sie sozialen Fragmentierungsphänomenen und Ungleichheiten im Zugang zur Kultur entgegenwirken.
Durch gemeinsame und inklusive Erfahrungen tragen sie zur Stärkung des Zugehörigkeitsgefühls, des gegenseitigen Verständnisses und des friedlichen Zusammenlebens innerhalb der Gemeinschaften und über territoriale Grenzen hinweg bei. Das Thema wird zudem die Feierlichkeiten zum 80. Jubiläum des ICOM begleiten, die im Laufe des Jahres vorgesehen sind.
In diesem Kontext bietet AquaLab einen Zyklus von künstlerischen und kreativen Workshops für Kinder im Alter von 5 bis 10 Jahren an, die darauf ausgelegt sind, die Kleinsten über praktische, lehrreiche und ansprechende Aktivitäten mit dem kulturellen Erbe der Villa bekannt zu machen.
Am Morgen, um 10.00 Uhr, findet der Workshop TECNOVILLA statt, der der Entdeckung der Architektur der Villa Badoer gewidmet ist und die Erstellung einer Pop-up-Karte inspiriert von den Formen und Geometrien der palladianischen Villa ermöglicht. Die Aktivität soll bei den Teilnehmern die Beobachtung des architektonischen Raums und die kreative Neuinterpretation der monumentalen Elemente durch die Sprache des Spiels und der Handwerklichkeit anregen.
Am Nachmittag, um 15.00 Uhr, findet der Workshop SEGRETI DIPINTI statt, der sich auf die künstlerische Dekoration und die Entdeckung der Grotesken konzentriert. Die Kinder werden eine persönliche Dekoration auf Ton erschaffen, wobei sie kreative Techniken ausprobieren, die von den ornamentalen Motiven der künstlerischen Tradition inspiriert sind, und einen direkten und partizipativen Ansatz zur dekorativen Kunst entwickeln.
Beide Workshops dauern etwa eine Stunde, mit Treffen an der Kasse der Villa Badoer. Für den gesamten Tag wird außerdem der ermäßigte Eintrittspreis für alle Besucher angewendet, sofern kein Anspruch auf Freikarten besteht.
