E questa forza di volontà, questa persuasione, è quella preziosa dote che con un solo vocabolo si chiama carattere, onde, per dirla in una parola sola,il primo bisogno d’Italia è che si formino Italiani che sappiano adempiere al loro dovere: quindi che si formino alti e forti caratteri.” Massimo d’Azeglio, “I miei ricordi” Alessandra Brocadello e Carlo Bertinelli (autore del testo), interpretano alcune emblematiche vicende risorgimentali, facendo rivivere sulla scena Arnaldo Fusinato e sua moglie Erminia Fuà, il loro amico Ippolito Nievo, Carlo Leoni, Leonilde Lonigo e i protagonisti della novella “Senso” di Camillo Boito, dalla quale è stato tratto l’omonimo film di Luchino Visconti... Persone e personaggi che hanno vissuto l’epoca dei moti risorgimentali, chi da protagonista, modificando con il proprio operato il corso della storia, chi da semplice spettatore.

And this willpower, this persuasion, is that precious gift which in a single word is called character; thus, to put it in a single word, Italy's first need is that Italians be formed who know how to fulfill their duty: therefore, that strong and high characters be formed.” Massimo d’Azeglio, “My Memories” Alessandra Brocadello and Carlo Bertinelli (author of the text) interpret some emblematic events of the Risorgimento, bringing to life on stage Arnaldo Fusinato and his wife Erminia Fuà, their friend Ippolito Nievo, Carlo Leoni, Leonilde Lonigo, and the protagonists of the novella “Senso” by Camillo Boito, from which the homonymous film by Luchino Visconti was adapted... People and characters who lived through the era of the Risorgimento uprisings, some as protagonists, altering the course of history with their actions, others as mere spectators.

Personen und Charaktere, die die Zeit der risorgimentalen Bewegungen erlebt haben, einige als Protagonisten, die mit ihrem Handeln den Lauf der Geschichte verändert haben, andere als einfache Zuschauer.
