il Comune di Fonzaso in collaborazione con il Circolo Scacchistico Feltrino "L'Avamposto", è lieto di proporre e organizzare l'iniziativa Natale sotto scacco, che si terrà mercoledì 24 dicembre 2025 con inizio previsto alle ore 10:00 presso la Sala del Municipio.
Un singolare torneo di scacchi aperto a tutti gli appassionati che si sviluppa su cinque turni di gioco con sistema di accoppiamento italo - svizzero (eventuali spareggi per la classifica finale avverranno con il metodo Buchholz), ciascuno dei quali concede al giocatore dodici minuti di riflessione, oltre a tre secondi aggiuntivi per ogni mossa eseguita, battendo il cronometro che ne misura il relativo livello di concentrazione e rapidità di gioco.
Le iscrizioni, aperte fino a quindici minuti prima dell'inizio del torneo, potranno essere effettuate gratuitamente tramite l'invio di un messaggio WhatsApp al seguente numero 340 4183433 (Alessandro), ma si consiglia la preiscrizione sul sito vesus.org oppure tramite e-mail all'indirizzo feltrinoscacchi@gmail.com
Il torneo prevede un numero massimo di trenta partecipanti, provenienti anche fuori Comune.
Nella sala da gioco è proibito introdurre smartphone e altri dispositivi elettronici, salvo casi di estrema necessità, da concordare preventivamente con gli arbitri.
Per ogni ulteriore aspetto non espressamente disciplinato nel bando, gli organizzatori dell'evento si atterranno alle vigenti normative previste dal Regolamento Internazionale FIDE.

The Municipality of Fonzaso in collaboration with the Feltrino Chess Club "L'Avamposto" is pleased to propose and organize the initiative Christmas Under Check, which will be held on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, starting at 10:00 AM in the Town Hall.
A unique chess tournament open to all enthusiasts that consists of five rounds of play with an Italian-Swiss pairing system (any tiebreakers for the final ranking will take place using the Buchholz method), each of which grants the player twelve minutes of thinking time, plus three additional seconds for each move made, ticking the clock that measures the respective level of concentration and speed of play.
