Fonzaso, a circa 329 mslm, si trova in una posizione privilegiata, all'interno di una conca pianeggiante circondata da monti ed è sempre stato un importante snodo tra le strade del Primiero, del Feltrino e della Valsugana.
Tra incendi, invasioni barbariche, molte sono state le vicende storiche a cui sono seguiti anni di carestie e pestilenze, ma Fonzaso, sfruttando le sue campagne e i suoi pendii montani, ha sempre saputo risorgere.
Nonostante le varie avventure e disavventure la popolazione non ha mai smesso di coltivare la propria terra, le principali risorse erano l'uva e il baco da seta, oltre al legname e al fieno ed oggi si stanno riscoprendo questi prodotti, soprattutto l'uva. Alcuni paesani infatti, stanno riportando alla luce molte uve che una volta erano ben rinomate.
Durante la Festa dell'Uva ci sarà l'occasione di degustare grappe e vini del territorio, saranno aperti i vecchi cortili con dimostrazione degli antichi mestieri.
Verranno organizzate visite guidate alla scoperta delle bellezze storiche e naturalistiche di Fonzaso e non mancheranno gli stand gastronomici con tante specialità e buona musica.
Fonzaso, at about 329 meters above sea level, is located in a privileged position, within a flat basin surrounded by mountains and has always been an important junction between the roads of Primiero, Feltrino, and Valsugana.
Throughout history, it has faced fires, barbarian invasions, and many events that led to years of famine and plague, but Fonzaso, leveraging its fields and mountainous slopes, has always managed to rise again.
Despite various adventures and misadventures, the population has never stopped cultivating their land; the main resources were grapes and silkworms, along with timber and hay, and today these products, especially grapes, are being rediscovered. Some locals are indeed bringing back to light many grape varieties that were once well-known.
During the Grape Festival, there will be opportunities to taste grappas and wines from the area, the old courtyards will be opened with demonstrations of ancient crafts.
There will be organized guided tours to discover the historic and natural beauties of Fonzaso, and there will be food stands offering many specialties and good music.
Fonzaso, auf etwa 329 m ü.d.M., befindet sich in einer günstigen Lage, innerhalb einer ebene Senke, die von Bergen umgeben ist, und war schon immer ein wichtiger Knotenpunkt zwischen den Straßen des Primiero, des Feltrino und der Valsugana.
Zwischen Bränden, barbarischen Invasionen, gab es viele historische Ereignisse, denen Jahre der Hungersnöte und Pestepidemien folgten, aber Fonzaso hat es immer verstanden, aus seinen Feldern und Bergabhängen wieder aufzuerstehen.
Trotz der verschiedenen Abenteuer und Missgeschicke hat die Bevölkerung nie aufgehört, ihr Land zu bewirtschaften, die Hauptressourcen waren Trauben und die Seidenspinnerraupe, sowie Holz und Heu, und heute werden diese Produkte, insbesondere die Trauben, wiederentdeckt. Einige Dorfbewohner bringen tatsächlich viele Trauben zurück ans Licht, die einst gut bekannt waren.
Während des Traubenfestes wird es die Gelegenheit geben, die Grappas und Weine der Region zu probieren, die alten Höfe werden mit Vorführungen alter Handwerkskünste geöffnet sein.
Es werden geführte Besichtigungen organisiert, um die historischen und natürlichen Schönheiten von Fonzaso zu entdecken, und es werden auch Gastronomiestände mit vielen Spezialitäten und guter Musik nicht fehlen.
