Nella notte più magica dell’estate, quella di san Lorenzo, il Santuario dei Santi Vittore e Corona si trasforma in un ponte tra cielo e terra, tra sacro e umano.
Sotto lo sguardo dei martiri e il riverbero delle antiche pietre di questo luogo sacro, un viaggio sonoro unico.
“Arie e Balli: colto e popolare tra Italia e Inghilterra” non è solo un’esperienza di ascolto, ma un dialogo tra due nazioni e tra due mondi: quello colto delle corti e quello vibrante delle piazze.
Viene esplorata in particolare la ricchezza musicale del Rinascimento e del Barocco, un’epoca in cui la distinzione tra musica d’arte e tradizione di ispirazione popolare era un confine sottile e permeabile.
La maestosità dell’organo incontrerà l’anima arcaica degli strumenti suonati magistralmente dal polistrumentista Fabio Tricomi, dai flauti alla chitarra, fino al ritmo ancestrale del tamburo e del marranzano.
Questa esperienza timbrica unica nel suo genere, che spazia dal rigore contrappuntistico di Byrd e Frescobaldi alla vitalità ritmica delle danze di strada, rappresenta un omaggio alla storia, alla fede e all’arte di uno dei gioielli più preziosi del territorio feltrino.
I suoni dell’organo e degli strumenti antichi rievocheranno battaglie, lacrime, balli e arie molto note in epoca antica, curiosamente chiamate, per citarne un paio, la Monica o la Frescobalda.

Il programma esplora un legame senza tempo: quello tra il mondo colto e l’ispirazione popolare, un incontro che ha animato la musica per secoli, dal Rinascimento fino ai giorni nostri.
