La mascherata parte da Falcade alle ore 8.00 del mattino, attraversando tutta la Valle del Biois.
Nel corteo sono presenti diversi personaggi caratteristici tra cui i Matiei, i Laché, i Ber, el Caoron Spion e tanti altri, tutto accompagnato dalla musica di fisarmoniche, chitarre e contrabbassi.
Manca però ancora la Zinghenesta, che sarà svelata solo verso le ore 12.00 con l’arrivo del corteo in Piazza Tancon a Canale d’Agordo.
Questo è forse il momento più suggestivo della festa, in cui tutti la applaudono e festeggiano con balli e brindisi.
Alle ore 14.30 il corteo sfila nuovamente per le vie del Paese e giunge in Piazza Papa Luciani dove il gruppo si esibisce nel “Bal de la Zinghenesta”.
Qui, accompagnati da musica, cibi e bevande, la festa prosegue ballando, finché non prende atto il processo al Carnevale.
Questa “commedia” si svolge ogni anno imputando al Carnevale tutti gli accadimenti negativi o particolari che siano avvenuti nella Valle del Biois.
La sentenza è solitamente funesta per lui e la sua condanna viene festeggiata dagli astanti, per liberarsi del passato e pensare ad un futuro migliore e prospero.

Der Umzug beginnt um 8.00 Uhr morgens in Falcade und zieht durch das gesamte Bioistal.

Dies ist vielleicht der eindrücklichste Moment des Festes, in dem alle sie applaudsieren und mit Tänzen und Trinksprüchen feiern.
Um 14.30 Uhr zieht der Zug erneut durch die Straßen des Dorfes und erreicht den Piazza Papa Luciani, wo die Gruppe im „Bal de la Zinghenesta“ auftritt.
Hier, begleitet von Musik, Essen und Getränken, geht das Fest mit Tanzen weiter, bis der Prozess gegen den Karneval zur Kenntnis genommen wird.
Diese „Komödie“ findet jedes Jahr statt und macht dem Karneval all die negativen oder besonderen Ereignisse, die im Bioistal passiert sind, zur Last.
Das Urteil ist für ihn in der Regel fatal und seine Verurteilung wird von den Anwesenden gefeiert, um sich von der Vergangenheit zu befreien und an eine bessere und wohlhabendere Zukunft zu denken.
