Sabato 20 giugno alle ore 21.30 si terrà l’incontro pubblico “L’Olmo svela i suoi segreti. Dalle recenti scoperte archeologiche al futuro Archeoparco”, un’occasione per conoscere i risultati della recente campagna di scavi archeologici nell’area dell’Olmo e le prospettive di valorizzazione del sito.
Le ricerche, condotte dall’Università degli Studi di Verona in concessione ministeriale, hanno portato alla luce nuove testimonianze utili a ricostruire la storia del territorio, offrendo importanti spunti per la comprensione delle sue antiche frequentazioni e trasformazioni nel corso dei secoli.
A presentare le scoperte sarà la professoressa Patrizia Basso, del Dipartimento di Culture e Civiltà dell’Università di Verona, che illustrerà i risultati scientifici emersi dagli scavi. La professoressa e assessore Beatrice Andreose accompagnerà invece il pubblico alla scoperta del progetto di riqualificazione dell’area, ormai nella fase conclusiva.
L’obiettivo è trasformare l’Olmo in un nuovo Archeoparco: uno spazio dedicato alla ricerca, alla divulgazione e alla valorizzazione del patrimonio storico-archeologico, capace di diventare un punto di riferimento culturale per la comunità.
Una serata aperta a tutti per conoscere il passato che riaffiora dal sottosuolo e il futuro di un luogo destinato a diventare un importante presidio di memoria, cultura e identità territoriale.
On Saturday, June 20 at 9:30 p.m., there will be a public meeting titled “The Elm Reveals Its Secrets: From Recent Archaeological Discoveries to the Future Archaeopark,” an opportunity to learn about the results of the recent archaeological excavation campaign in the Elm area and the prospects for enhancing the site.
The research, conducted by the University of Verona under ministerial concession, has brought to light new evidence useful for reconstructing the history of the territory, providing important insights for understanding its ancient usages and transformations over the centuries.
Presenting the discoveries will be Professor Patrizia Basso from the Department of Cultures and Civilizations at the University of Verona, who will illustrate the scientific results emerged from the excavations. Professor and Councilor Beatrice Andreose will accompany the audience in discovering the area’s redevelopment project, now in its final phase.
The goal is to transform the Elm into a new Archaeopark: a space dedicated to research, dissemination, and enhancement of the historical and archaeological heritage, capable of becoming a cultural reference point for the community.
An open evening for everyone to learn about the past that emerges from the underground and the future of a place destined to become an important bastion of memory, culture, and territorial identity.
Am Samstag, den 20. Juni um 21.30 Uhr findet die öffentliche Veranstaltung “Die Pappel enthüllt ihre Geheimnisse. Von den jüngsten archäologischen Entdeckungen bis hin zur Zukunft des Archeoparks” statt, eine Gelegenheit, die Ergebnisse der kürzlich durchgeführten archäologischen Ausgrabungen im Bereich der Pappel kennenzulernen und die Perspektiven der Wertsteigerung des Standortes zu erfahren.
Die Forschungen, die von der Universität Verona im Rahmen einer ministeriellen Genehmigung durchgeführt wurden, haben neue Zeugnisse ans Licht gebracht, die hilfreich sind, um die Geschichte des Gebiets zu rekonstruieren, und bieten wichtige Ansätze zum Verständnis seiner alten Besiedlungen und Veränderungen im Laufe der Jahrhunderte.
Die Entdeckungen wird Professorin Patrizia Basso vom Department für Kulturen und Zivilisationen der Universität Verona vorstellen, die die wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse der Ausgrabungen erläutern wird. Professorin und Bürgermeisterin Beatrice Andreose wird das Publikum hingegen in das Projekt zur Aufwertung des Gebiets einführen, das sich nun in der Abschlussphase befindet.
Das Ziel ist es, die Pappel in einen neuen Archeopark zu verwandeln: einen Raum, der der Forschung, der Vermittlung und der Wertschätzung des historischen und archäologischen Erbes gewidmet ist und zu einem kulturellen Bezugspunkt für die Gemeinschaft werden kann.
Ein Abend, der für alle offen ist, um die Vergangenheit, die aus dem Untergrund auftaucht, und die Zukunft eines Ortes kennenzulernen, der zu einem wichtigen Ort des Gedächtnisses, der Kultur und der territorialen Identität werden soll.
