Descrizione
ORARI: tutti i giorni 9.00–12.30 e 15.00–19.00; sabato e domenica 9.00–19.00.
INGRESSO LIBERO.
There are stories that take shape thread by thread, weaving the beauty of craftsmanship with the value of a supportive gesture. From October 17 to November 3, the Rimoldi Museum hosts Craftsmanship and Solidarity, an exhibition that brings to Cortina the colors, knowledge, and talent of the Andean artisans.
Knitting, weaving and embroidery come to life in garments, bags, rugs, scarves and accessories made by hand, where the softness of alpaca wool meets ancient techniques and original decorations. Each creation holds a heritage of traditions and tells a story of training, autonomy, and hope.
The works are born in vocational schools and cooperatives supported by the Operazione Mato Grosso and the Don Bosco 3A Association, committed to promoting concrete opportunities for the communities of Latin America. Here, craftsmanship is much more than a trade: it is a tool to enhance talents, preserve local identities, and build new prospects for the future.
An exhibition to be admired with the eyes and understood with the heart, to discover how the beauty of handmade work can become a bridge between cultures and an opportunity for solidarity.
OPENING HOURS: every day 9.00 a.m.–12.30 p.m. and 3.00 p.m.–7.00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9.00 a.m.–7.00 p.m.
FREE ENTRY.
In addition to the exhibited artifacts, it will be possible to learn about the other activities of the missionary movement.
