Domenica 2 agosto, nel suggestivo scenario del Museo all’aperto della Grande Guerra – 5 Torri, torna “Toccare la Storia con Mano”, uno degli appuntamenti più emozionanti dedicati alla memoria della Prima Guerra Mondiale.
Per un’intera giornata, rievocatori storici in uniforme, provenienti da tutta Europa, daranno vita a un racconto autentico e coinvolgente della vita dei soldati sul fronte dolomitico. Tra accampamenti fedelmente ricostruiti, allestimenti museali e dimostrazioni dal vivo, sarà possibile immergersi nella quotidianità dei militari d’alta quota, tra fatica, ingegno e spirito di sopravvivenza.
Un momento particolarmente suggestivo sarà la preparazione del rancio da parte dei rievocatori tedeschi, cucinato su una piccola stufa d’epoca, proprio come accadeva oltre cento anni fa.
Alle ore 10.30 si terrà la Santa Messa, in un contesto di grande valore storico e paesaggistico.
Durante tutta la giornata, i rievocatori saranno a disposizione del pubblico per raccontare storie, curiosità e dettagli sulla vita in trincea, offrendo un’esperienza educativa e profondamente umana.
L’evento è gratuito e aperto a tutti. Il museo è raggiungibile a piedi o tramite la Seggiovia 5 Torri, senza necessità di prenotazione.
Un’occasione unica per vivere la storia, ascoltarla da vicino e sentirla davvero.
On Sunday August 2, in the stunning setting of the Open Air Museum of the Great War – 5 Torri, “Touch the History with Your Hands” returns, one of the most exciting events dedicated to the memory of the First World War.
For an entire day, historical reenactors in uniform, coming from all over Europe, will bring to life an authentic and engaging narrative of the soldiers' lives on the Dolomite front. Among faithfully reconstructed camps, museum setups, and live demonstrations, it will be possible to immerse oneself in the daily lives of high-altitude soldiers, amidst toil, ingenuity, and survival spirit.
A particularly evocative moment will be the preparation of the rations by the German reenactors, cooked on a small period stove, just as it happened over a hundred years ago.
At 10:30 AM, there will be a Holy Mass, in a context of great historical and scenic value.
Throughout the day, the reenactors will be available to the public to share stories, curiosities, and details about life in the trenches, offering an educational and deeply human experience.
The event is free and open to all. The museum can be reached on foot or via the 5 Torri Chairlift, with no need for reservation.

Sonntag 2. August, im eindrucksvollen Rahmen des Freiluftmuseums des Ersten Weltkriegs – 5 Torri, kehrt „Geschichte mit Händen begreifen“ zurück, eines der aufregendsten Ereignisse zu Ehren der Erinnerung an den Ersten Weltkrieg.
Für einen ganzen Tag werden historische Reenactors in Uniform, aus ganz Europa, eine authentische und fesselnde Erzählung über das Leben der Soldaten an der Dolomitenfront zum Leben erwecken. Zwischen originalgetreu nachgebauten Lagern, Museumsgestaltungen und Live-Demonstrationen wird es möglich sein, in den Alltag der Hochgebirgssoldaten einzutauchen, zwischen Mühe, Einfallsreichtum und Überlebensgeist.
Ein besonders eindrucksvoller Moment wird die Zubereitung des Essens durch die deutschen Reenactors sein, gekocht auf einem kleinen historischen Ofen, genau wie vor über hundert Jahren.
Um 10.30 Uhr findet die Heilige Messe in einem historischen und landschaftlich wertvollen Rahmen statt.
Den ganzen Tag über stehen die Reenactors dem Publikum zur Verfügung, um Geschichten, Kuriositäten und Details über das Leben in den Schützengräben zu erzählen und ein bildungsreiches und zutiefst menschliches Erlebnis zu bieten.
Die Veranstaltung ist kostenlos und für alle geöffnet. Das Museum ist zu Fuß oder mit der 5 Torri Seilbahn erreichbar, ohne dass eine Reservierung erforderlich ist.
Eine einmalige Gelegenheit, um Geschichte zu leben, sie aus der Nähe zu hören und sie wirklich zu fühlen.
