Chi ha detto che le stelle si osservano solo di notte?
Il 19, 26 agosto e 2, 5 settembre, l’Osservatorio Astronomico Helmut Ullrich di Col Druscié, a pochi minuti dal centro di Cortina d’Ampezzo, invita a scoprire il cielo sotto una luce completamente diversa: quella del Sole.
A oltre 1.700 metri di quota, il telescopio solare dell’osservatorio permette di osservare in totale sicurezza dettagli invisibili a occhio nudo e di avvicinarsi ai fenomeni più spettacolari della nostra stella. Durante l’apertura al pubblico, dalle 10:30 alle 13:00, gli esperti dell’Associazione Astronomica Cortina accompagneranno visitatori e curiosi alla scoperta delle macchie solari, della granulazione della fotosfera, delle protuberanze e delle straordinarie dinamiche che animano la superficie solare.
Un’esperienza immersiva in cui la scienza incontra la meraviglia, con le Dolomiti come scenario e il Sole come protagonista. Ideale per famiglie, appassionati e per chi desidera vivere Cortina da una prospettiva insolita, tra conoscenza, emozione e alta quota.
L’attività si svolge senza prenotazione e nelle giornate di cielo sereno. L’osservatorio è raggiungibile con la cabinovia Freccia nel Cielo oppure con una piacevole passeggiata di circa 20 minuti da Piè Tofana.

On August 19, 26 and September 2, 5, the Helmut Ullrich Astronomical Observatory in Col Druscié, just a few minutes from the center of Cortina d’Ampezzo, invites you to discover the sky in a completely different light: that of the Sun.
At over 1,700 meters above sea level, the solar telescope of the observatory allows you to safely observe details invisible to the naked eye and get closer to the most spectacular phenomena of our star. During the public opening, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., experts from the Cortina Astronomical Association will guide visitors and curious minds in discovering sunspots, the granulation of the photosphere, prominences, and the extraordinary dynamics that animate the solar surface.
An immersive experience where science meets wonder, with the Dolomites as a backdrop and the Sun as the protagonist. Ideal for families, enthusiasts, and anyone wishing to experience Cortina from an unusual perspective, blending knowledge, emotion, and high altitude.
The activity takes place without reservation and on days of clear skies. The observatory can be reached by the Freccia nel Cielo cable car or by a pleasant 20-minute walk from Piè Tofana.

Am 19. und 26. August sowie am 2. und 5. September lädt das Helmut Ullrich Astronomische Observatorium in Col Druscié, nur wenige Minuten vom Zentrum von Cortina d’Ampezzo entfernt, dazu ein, den Himmel in einem ganz anderen Licht zu entdecken: dem Licht der Sonne.
In über 1.700 Metern Höhe ermöglicht das Sonnenteleskop des Observatoriums, unsichtbare Details mit bloßem Auge sicher zu beobachten und sich den spektakulärsten Phänomenen unseres Sterns zu nähern. Während der Öffnungszeiten, von 10:30 bis 13:00, begleiten die Experten der Astronomischen Vereinigung Cortina Besucher und Neugierige bei der Entdeckung der Sonnenflecken, der Granulation der Fotosphäre, der Protuberanzen und der außergewöhnlichen Dynamiken, die die Sonnenoberfläche beleben.
Ein immersives Erlebnis, in dem Wissenschaft auf Staunen trifft, mit den Dolomiten als Kulisse und der Sonne als Hauptdarsteller. Ideal für Familien, Enthusiasten und für alle, die Cortina aus einer ungewöhnlichen Perspektive erleben möchten, zwischen Wissen, Emotion und großer Höhe.
Die Aktivität findet ohne Reservierung und an Tagen mit klarem Himmel statt. Das Observatorium ist mit der Seilbahn Freccia nel Cielo oder durch einen angenehmen Spaziergang von etwa 20 Minuten von Piè Tofana erreichbar.
