Ricordando Franco, un evento benefico nato per celebrare il ricordo di un amico della montagna attraverso i valori che più lo rappresentavano: condivisione, sicurezza, passione per l'alpinismo, cultura e amicizia.
In uno dei luoghi più straordinari delle Dolomiti, Patrimonio Mondiale UNESCO, tre giornate aperte a soci, appassionati, volontari, famiglie e ospiti offriranno occasioni di incontro, formazione e approfondimento culturale, con l'obiettivo di sostenere una causa benefica e tramandare alle nuove generazioni l'amore per la montagna vissuta con consapevolezza e rispetto.
Le iniziative si svolgeranno tra Cortina d'Ampezzo, Pocol e l'area delle Cinque Torri, uno dei simboli dell'alpinismo dolomitico e della storia della Grande Guerra, meta conosciuta a livello internazionale per il suo straordinario valore paesaggistico e alpinistico.

La sicurezza in montagna: conoscere per aiutare
Ore 20:00 – Ciasa de ra Regoles
La manifestazione si aprirà con una serata dedicata alla gestione delle emergenze in ambiente montano, condotta dal personale del SUEM 118 di Pieve di Cadore.
Attraverso esempi pratici, testimonianze ed esperienze operative, i partecipanti potranno approfondire i principi fondamentali del primo intervento, comprendere il funzionamento della catena del soccorso e acquisire maggiore consapevolezza nell'affrontare situazioni critiche in montagna.
Un appuntamento prezioso per escursionisti, alpinisti e semplici frequentatori delle Terre Alte, nel segno della prevenzione e della cultura della sicurezza.

Dalle basi dell'arrampicata alle vie di più tiri
Ore 8:30 – Ritrovo presso il Bar dell'Hotel Argentina, Pocol
La giornata centrale dell'evento sarà dedicata alla pratica della montagna.
Dopo il ritrovo a Pocol, i partecipanti raggiungeranno l'area delle 5 Torri, autentico laboratorio naturale dell'alpinismo dolomitico, dove si svolgerà un'attività tecnica dal titolo:
“Dalle regole di base alla progressione su vie di più tiri”
I partecipanti potranno confrontarsi con istruttori ed esperti, approfondendo temi legati alla sicurezza, alle manovre fondamentali, alla gestione della cordata e alla progressione su itinerari multipitch.
Le Cinque Torri rappresentano uno dei luoghi più iconici delle Dolomiti e costituiscono da oltre un secolo una palestra naturale per generazioni di alpinisti provenienti da tutto il mondo.

La mattinata proseguirà con il tradizionale momento conviviale del Piadina Day presso la sede del Soccorso Alpino di Cortina, in via Codivilla.

Remembering Franco, a charity event born to celebrate the memory of a mountain friend through the values that best represented him: sharing, safety, passion for mountaineering, culture, and friendship.
In one of the most extraordinary places in the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, three days open to members, enthusiasts, volunteers, families, and guests will offer opportunities for meeting, training, and cultural deepening, with the aim of supporting a charitable cause and passing on to new generations the love for the mountains lived with awareness and respect.
The initiatives will take place between Cortina d'Ampezzo, Pocol, and the area of the Cinque Torri, one of the symbols of Dolomite mountaineering and the history of the Great War, a destination known internationally for its extraordinary landscape and mountaineering value.

Safety in the mountains: knowledge to help

The event will open with an evening dedicated to emergency management in mountain environments, conducted by the staff of SUEM 118 of Pieve di Cadore.
Through practical examples, testimonies, and operational experiences, participants will be able to deepen their knowledge of the fundamental principles of first aid, understand how the rescue chain works, and gain greater awareness in facing critical situations in the mountains.
A valuable appointment for hikers, climbers, and casual visitors of the High Lands, in the spirit of prevention and safety culture.

From the basics of climbing to multi-pitch routes
8:30 a.m. – Meeting at the Bar of Hotel Argentina, Pocol
The central day of the event will be dedicated to mountain practice.
After meeting in Pocol, participants will reach the area of the 5 Torri, a true natural laboratory of Dolomite mountaineering, where a technical activity titled:
“From basic rules to progression on multi-pitch routes”
Participants will engage with instructors and experts, deepening topics related to safety, basic maneuvers, rope management, and progression on multi-pitch routes.
The Cinque Torri represent one of the most iconic places in the Dolomites and have served for over a century as a natural gym for generations of climbers from all over the world.
PIADINA DAY from 11:30 a.m.
The morning will continue with the traditional convivial moment of Piadina Day at the headquarters of Cortina Alpine Rescue, in via Codivilla.

Franco gedenken, eine Wohltätigkeitsveranstaltung, die ins Leben gerufen wurde, um an einen Freund der Berge zu erinnern, durch die Werte, die ihn am meisten repräsentierten: Gemeinschaft, Sicherheit, Leidenschaft für das Bergsteigen, Kultur und Freundschaft.

Die Veranstaltung beginnt mit einem Abend, der der Notfallbewältigung im Gebirgsumfeld gewidmet ist, geleitet von den Mitarbeitern des SUEM 118 von Pieve di Cadore.
Durch praktische Beispiele, Zeugenaussagen und operative Erfahrungen können die Teilnehmer die grundlegenden Prinzipien der Ersten Hilfe vertiefen, das Funktionieren der Rettungskette verstehen und ein größeres Bewusstsein im Umgang mit kritischen Situationen in den Bergen entwickeln.
Ein wertvoller Termin für Wanderer, Alpinisten und einfach nur für Besucher der Hochgebirge, im Zeichen der Prävention und der Sicherheitskultur.

Von den Grundlagen des Kletterns zu den Mehrseillängenrouten
Uhr 8:30 – Treffen am Bar des Hotel Argentina, Pocol
Der zentrale Tag der Veranstaltung wird der Praxis in den Bergen gewidmet.
Nach dem Treffen in Pocol werden die Teilnehmer das Gebiet der 5 Torri, ein echtes Naturlabor des dolomitischen Bergsteigens, erreichen, wo eine technische Aktivität mit dem Titel stattfindet:
„Von den Grundregeln zur Progression auf Mehrseillängenrouten”
Die Teilnehmer können sich mit Instruktoren und Experten austauschen und Themen zu Sicherheit, grundlegenden Manövern, der Organisation der Seilschaft und der Progression auf Mehrseilrouten vertiefen.
Die Cinque Torri stellen einen der ikonischsten Orte der Dolomiten dar und sind seit über einem Jahrhundert ein Naturspielplatz für Generationen von Alpinisten aus der ganzen Welt.

Der Vormittag wird mit dem traditionellen geselligen Moment des Piadina Day im Hauptquartier des Alpenrettungsdienstes von Cortina, in der Via Codivilla, fortgesetzt.
