Ogni estate, dal 2011, il Premio Cortina d’Ampezzo celebra le pagine capaci di emozionare, raccontando la grande narrativa contemporanea e il rapporto profondo tra l’uomo e la montagna.
La sedicesima edizione raggiunge il suo momento culminante con la proclamazione dei vincitori e un incontro speciale con due autori che, attraverso esperienze radicalmente diverse, hanno fatto della parola uno strumento per attraversare i propri confini.
Leonardo Colombati, vincitore del Premio Cortina d’Ampezzo con Non vi sarà più notte (Mondadori), e Wafaa Amer, vincitrice del Premio della Montagna Cortina d’Ampezzo con Io sono Wafaa (Solferino), si incontrano sul palco per raccontare le loro storie, il loro modo di guardare il mondo e ciò che significa trasformare l’esperienza in letteratura.
Da una parte la scrittura di Colombati, autore di romanzi e saggi e protagonista della scena culturale italiana; dall’altra la straordinaria vicenda di Wafaa Amer, nata in Egitto e arrivata bambina in Italia, che ha trovato nell’arrampicata la forza per conquistare libertà, identità e futuro.
Due percorsi lontani, ma accomunati da una stessa tensione: non accettare i limiti imposti e cercare, attraverso le proprie passioni, una strada possibile.
Sul palco, insieme agli autori vincitori, le voci della Giuria e i protagonisti del Premio, in una serata dedicata ai libri, alle persone e alle storie che lasciano il segno.

Every summer, since 2011, the Cortina d’Ampezzo Prize celebrates the pages capable of moving, telling the great contemporary narrative and the deep relationship between man and mountain.
The sixteenth edition reaches its climax with the announcement of the winners and a special meeting with two authors who, through radically different experiences, have made words a tool to cross their own boundaries.
Leonardo Colombati, winner of the Cortina d’Ampezzo Prize with No More Night (Mondadori), and Wafaa Amer, winner of the Cortina d’Ampezzo Mountain Prize with I Am Wafaa (Solferino), meet on stage to share their stories, their way of looking at the world, and what it means to transform experience into literature.
On one side is Colombati’s writing, an author of novels and essays and a protagonist in the Italian cultural scene; on the other is the extraordinary story of Wafaa Amer, born in Egypt and arriving as a child in Italy, who found strength in climbing to conquer freedom, identity, and the future.
Two distant paths, but united by the same tension: not to accept imposed limits and to seek, through one's passions, a possible path.
On stage, alongside the winning authors, the voices of the Jury and the protagonists of the Prize, in an evening dedicated to books, people, and stories that leave a mark.

Jeden Sommer, seit 2011, der Cortina d’Ampezzo Preis feiert die Seiten, die zu bewegen wissen, indem sie die große zeitgenössische Erzählung und die tiefe Beziehung zwischen Mensch und Berg erzählen.
Die sechzehnte Auflage erreicht ihren Höhepunkt mit der Verkündung der Gewinner und einem besonderen Treffen mit zwei Autoren, die, durch radikal unterschiedliche Erfahrungen, das Wort zu einem Werkzeug gemacht haben, um ihre eigenen Grenzen zu überschreiten.
Leonardo Colombati, Gewinner des Cortina d’Ampezzo Preises mit Non vi sarà più notte (Mondadori), und Wafaa Amer, Gewinnerin des Bergpreises Cortina d’Ampezzo mit Io sono Wafaa (Solferino), treffen sich auf der Bühne, um ihre Geschichten, ihre Sichtweise auf die Welt und was es bedeutet, Erfahrung in Literatur zu verwandeln, zu erzählen.
Auf der einen Seite das Schreiben von Colombati, Autor von Romanen und Essays und Protagonist der italienischen Kulturszene; auf der anderen Seite die bemerkenswerte Geschichte von Wafaa Amer, die in Ägypten geboren wurde und als Kind nach Italien kam, die in der Kletterei die Kraft fand, Freiheit, Identität und Zukunft zu erobern.
Zwei unterschiedliche Wege, aber vereint durch die gleiche Anspannung: die auferlegten Grenzen nicht zu akzeptieren und, durch die eigenen Leidenschaften, einen möglichen Weg zu suchen.
Auf der Bühne, zusammen mit den Gewinnerautoren, die Stimmen der Jury und die Protagonisten des Preises, an einem Abend, der den Büchern, den Menschen und den Geschichten gewidmet ist, die Spuren hinterlassen.
