Si rinnova la collaborazione con l’Associazione Organi Storici del Cadore con un recital di Sheen Young Lee, artista che nei suoi concerti sa coinvolgere il pubblico attraverso la passione, la profonda musicalità e l’originalità dei suoi programmi nei quali, spesso, combina brani di repertorio e trascrizioni.
Sabato 03 agosto 2024 alle 19:00 presso la Basilica minore dei SS.Filippo e Giacomo si potranno apprezzare due pagine manifesto della musica organistica di sempre. In particolare il preludio e fuga in Mib maggiore di Bach, tratto dalla terza parte del Clavìer-Übung le cui due parti, divise, aprono e chiudono il ciclo, si rivela compatto e grandioso, incline a quel gusto della spettacolarità che Bach a volte impiega per contrasto con l’andamento ascetico dei corali. Il Preludio è in forma di ouverture, alla francese, dunque con una struttura ciclica che prevede, al suo interno, la presenza di episodi divaganti. La Fuga è in tre parti, ciascuna delle quali costruita su un soggetto diverso non solo nella melodia, ma anche nel ritmo.
A seguire la trascrizione dell’interprete tratta dalla celebre opera francese si Sansone e Dalila a cui seguirà la quinta sinfonia di Widor, la più nota delle sue dieci sinfonie per organo. La sua notorietà di questa sinfonia è dovuta in gran parte all’ultimo movimento, “Toccata”, di frequente esecuzione come brano cerimoniale, soprattutto nei matrimoni.

The collaboration with the Associazione Organi Storici del Cadore (Cadore's Historical Organs Association) is renewed with a recital by Sheen Young Lee, an artist who in his concerts knows how to involve the audience through passion, profound musicality and the originality of his programmes in which he often combines repertoire pieces and transcriptions.
On Saturday, 03 August 2024 at 7 p.m. in the Minor Basilica of Sts. Philip and James, two manifesto pages of organ music can be enjoyed.
In particular, Bach's Prelude and Fugue in E flat major, taken from the third part of the Clavìer-Übung whose two parts, divided, open and close the cycle, proves to be compact and grandiose, inclined to that taste for spectacularity that Bach sometimes employs to contrast the ascetic trend of the chorales. The Prelude is in the form of an overture, in the French style, thus with a cyclic structure that includes digressive episodes. The Fugue is in three parts, each built on a different subject not only in melody, but also in rhythm.
The performer's transcription from the famous French opera Samson and Delilah will be followed by Widor's Fifth Symphony, the best known of his ten organ symphonies. This symphony's notoriety is largely due to its last movement, ‘Toccata’, frequently performed as a ceremonial piece, especially at weddings.

Die Zusammenarbeit mit der Associazione Organi Storici del Cadore (Vereinigung historischer Orgeln von Cadore) wird mit einem Konzert von Sheen Young Lee erneuert, einem Künstler, der es in seinen Konzerten versteht, das Publikum durch Leidenschaft, tiefe Musikalität und die Originalität seiner Programme, in denen er oft Repertoirestücke und Transkriptionen kombiniert, mitzureißen.
Am Samstag, den 03. August 2024 um 19.00 Uhr in der Basilika St. Philippus und Jakobus Minor sind zwei Manifeste der Orgelmusik zu hören.
Insbesondere Bachs Präludium und Fuge in Es-Dur aus dem dritten Teil der Clavìer-Übung, deren zwei Teile, geteilt, den Zyklus eröffnen und abschließen, erweist sich als kompakt und grandios, geneigt zu jener Vorliebe für das Spektakuläre, mit der Bach manchmal die asketische Tendenz der Choräle kontrastiert. Das Präludium hat die Form einer Ouvertüre im französischen Stil, also mit einer zyklischen Struktur, die abschweifende Episoden enthält. Die Fuge besteht aus drei Teilen, die jeweils auf einem anderen Thema aufbauen, nicht nur in der Melodie, sondern auch im Rhythmus. Auf die Transkription des Interpreten aus der berühmten französischen Oper Samson und Delilah folgt Widors Fünfte Symphonie, die bekannteste seiner zehn Orgelsymphonien. Diese Symphonie ist vor allem wegen ihres letzten Satzes, der „Toccata“, bekannt, die häufig als feierliches Stück, insbesondere bei Hochzeiten, aufgeführt wird.
