A Cortina d’Ampezzo, il cinema diventa un viaggio nella creatività, nella memoria e nell’immaginazione.

Per la stagione 2026–2027, il Cinema Alexander Girardi Hall accoglie I GRANDI MAESTRI, il nuovo progetto firmato Kublai Film: cinque appuntamenti, cinque straordinari protagonisti, cinque storie capaci di attraversare i secoli e parlare al nostro presente.

Si parte ad ottobre con CARAVAGGIO, un’indagine cinematografica nel cuore della vita e dell’opera del grande maestro lombardo, attraverso i dettagli, gli autoritratti nascosti e gli enigmi che ancora abitano i suoi capolavori.

A novembre arriva WERNER HERZOG. RADICAL DREAMER, ritratto di un regista visionario e radicale, costruito attraverso archivi esclusivi e le testimonianze di figure come Christian Bale, Nicole Kidman, Robert Pattinson, Wim Wenders e Patti Smith.

A febbraio sarà la volta di FRIDA KAHLO, con una nuova versione arricchita da materiali realizzati in occasione della grande mostra alla Tate Modern: il volto, il colore, la forza di un’icona che ha trasformato la propria vita in arte.

A marzo, MICHAEL ENDE. UNA STORIA INFINITA ci conduce nell’universo dell’autore de La storia infinita e Momo, per riscoprire l’origine di un immaginario che continua a nutrire generazioni.

Chiude la rassegna TURNER & CONSTABLE, il confronto tra due giganti della pittura inglese e due modi rivoluzionari di guardare il paesaggio. 

Cinque film in sette mesi. Dalla pittura al cinema, dalla letteratura al paesaggio: I GRANDI MAESTRI trasforma la sala in un luogo d’incontro tra arte, cultura ed emozione. Un invito a fermarsi, guardare e lasciarsi sorprendere. Perché alcuni artisti non appartengono soltanto alla storia: continuano a cambiare il nostro modo di vedere il mondo.

In Cortina d’Ampezzo, the cinema becomes a journey into creativity, memory, and imagination.

For the 2026–2027 season, the Alexander Girardi Hall Cinema hosts THE GREAT MASTERS, the new project signed by Kublai Film: five events, five extraordinary protagonists, five stories capable of crossing centuries and speaking to our present.

It starts in October  with CARAVAGGIO, a cinematic investigation into the heart of the life and work of the great Lombard master, through details, hidden self-portraits, and the enigmas that still inhabit his masterpieces.

In November, WERNER HERZOG. RADICAL DREAMER arrives, a portrait of a visionary and radical director, built through exclusive archives and testimonies from figures such as Christian Bale, Nicole Kidman, Robert Pattinson, Wim Wenders, and Patti Smith.

In February, it will be the turn of FRIDA KAHLO, with a new version enriched by materials created for the great exhibition at Tate Modern: the face, the color, the strength of an icon who transformed her life into art.

In March, MICHAEL ENDE. A NEVER-ENDING STORY takes us into the universe of the author of The Neverending Story and Momo, to rediscover the origin of an imaginary that continues to nourish generations.

The series closes with TURNER & CONSTABLE, the comparison between two giants of English painting and two revolutionary ways of looking at the landscape. 

Five films in seven months. From painting to cinema, from literature to landscape: THE GREAT MASTERS transforms the hall into a meeting place between art, culture, and emotion. An invitation to stop, look, and be surprised. Because some artists do not belong solely to history: they continue to change our way of seeing the world.

In Cortina d'Ampezzo, verwandelt sich das Kino in eine Reise in die Kreativität, in die Erinnerung und in die Vorstellungskraft.

Für die Saison 2026–2027 empfängt das Cinema Alexander Girardi Hall DIE GROSSEN MEISTER, das neue Projekt von Kublai Film: fünf Veranstaltungen, fünf außergewöhnliche Protagonisten, fünf Geschichten, die Jahrhunderte überbrücken und zu unserer Gegenwart sprechen können.

Es beginnt im Oktober mit CARAVAGGIO, einer filmischen Untersuchung im Herzen des Lebens und Werks des großen lombardischen Meisters, durch die Details, die verborgenen Selbstporträts und die Rätsel, die noch in seinen Meisterwerken wohnen.

Im November kommt WERNER HERZOG. RADIKALER TRAUMER, das Porträt eines visionären und radikalen Regisseurs, geschaffen durch exklusive Archive und die Zeugnisse von Persönlichkeiten wie Christian Bale, Nicole Kidman, Robert Pattinson, Wim Wenders und Patti Smith.

Im Februar wird FRIDA KAHLO zu sehen sein, mit einer neuen Version, die durch Materialien ergänzt wird, die anlässlich der großen Ausstellung in der Tate Modern erstellt wurden: das Gesicht, die Farbe, die Kraft eines Ikone, die ihr Leben in Kunst verwandelt hat.

Im März führt uns MICHAEL ENDE. EINE UNENDLICHE GESCHICHTE in das Universum des Autors von Die unendliche Geschichte und Momo, um den Ursprung einer Vorstellungskraft neu zu entdecken, die Generationen weiterhin nährt.

Den Abschluss der Reihe bildet TURNER & CONSTABLE, der Vergleich zwischen zwei Giganten der englischen Malerei und zwei revolutionären Arten, die Landschaft zu betrachten. 

Fünf Filme in sieben Monaten. Von der Malerei zum Kino, von der Literatur zur Landschaft: DIE GROSSEN MEISTER verwandelt den Saal in einen Begegnungsort zwischen Kunst, Kultur und Emotion. Eine Einladung innezuhalten, zu schauen und sich überraschen zu lassen. Denn einige Künstler gehören nicht nur zur Geschichte: sie verändern weiterhin unsere Sicht auf die Welt.
