La storica Granfondo Dobbiaco-Cortina si svolge dal 1977 ed è la seconda Granfondo più grande in Italia.
Ha raggiunto fama internazionale ospitando il Tour de Ski nel 2010 sul tracciato da Cortina a Dobbiaco.
La Granfondo è una gara internazionale del calendario FIS 2023/2024 e una delle tappe della serie Skiclassics Challengers.
Si svolge fin dalla prima edizione con partenza da Dobbiaco (BZ) e arrivo a Cortina d'Ampezzo (BL), su un tracciato adatto ad atleti ed amatori, che si snoda in gran parte lungo la vecchia ferrovia che ha collegato le due cittadine fino ai primi anni sessanta.
L'evento richiama migliaia di sciatori e prevede due giorni di gara, sabato 3 febbraio la gara in tecnica classica, lunga 42 km e domenica 4 la gara in tecnica libera/skating, lunga 35 km.
Il pubblico può assistere alle gare alla partenza, lungo il tracciato e al traguardo nel piazzale Autostazione a Cortina d'Ampezzo, dove ci saranno anche le premiazioni; una buona occasione per vedere all'opera campioni e appassionati che si cimentano nelle lunghe distanze con ai piedi gli sci "stretti".
Per i partecipanti è organizzato il Pasta Party di fine gara.

The historic Granfondo Dobbiaco-Cortina has been held since 1977 and is the second largest Granfondo in Italy.
It achieved international fame by hosting the Tour de Ski in 2010 on the route from Cortina to Toblach.
The Granfondo is an international race on the FIS 2023/2024 calendar and one of the stages of the Skiclassics Challengers series.
It has been held since the first edition with departure from Dobbiaco (BZ) and arrival in Cortina d'Ampezzo (BL), on a course suitable for athletes and amateurs, which winds largely along the old railway that connected the two towns until the early 1960s.
The event attracts thousands of skiers and includes two race days, Saturday 3 February the race in classic technique, 42 km long, and Sunday 4 the race in free technique/skating, 35 km long.
The public can watch the races at the start, along the course, and at the finish line in Piazzale Autostazione in Cortina d'Ampezzo, where there will also be the prize-giving ceremony; a good opportunity to see champions and enthusiasts at work as they test themselves over long distances with 'narrow' skis on their feet.
A Pasta Party will be organised for participants at the end of the race.

Der historische Volkslanglauf Toblach-Cortina wird seit 1977 ausgetragen und ist der zweitgrößte Granfondo Italiens.
2010 erlangte er internationale Bekanntheit durch die Austragung der Tour de Ski auf der Cortina-Toblach-Strecke.
Der Volkslanglauf ist ein internationales Rennen im FIS-Kalenders 2023/2024 und eine der Etappen der Skiclassics Challengers Serie. Er wird seit der ersten Ausgabe mit Start in Toblach (BZ) und Ziel in Cortina d'Ampezzo (BL) auf einer für Sportler und Amateure geeigneten Strecke ausgetragen, die sich größtenteils entlang der alten Eisenbahnlinie schlängelt, die die beiden Orte bis Anfang der 1960er Jahre verband.
Die Veranstaltung, die Tausende von Langläufer anzieht, umfasst zwei Wettkampftage: am Samstag, 3. Februar, das Rennen in klassischer Technik über 42 km und am Sonntag, 4. Februar, das Rennen in freier Technik/Skating über 35 km.
Das Publikum kann die Rennen am Start, auf der Strecke und im Ziel am Piazzale Autostazione in Cortina d'Ampezzo verfolgen, wo auch die Preisverleihung stattfindet - eine gute Gelegenheit, die Besten auf den "schmalen" Skiern zu beobachten.
Am Ende des Rennens wird für die Teilnehmer eine Pasta-Party organisiert.
