L'Africa corre, salta, ride. Non chiede medaglie, ma ascolto. E nei giochi dei più piccoli risuona l'antico battito dell'umanità.
Il Progetto Grandi Giochi nasce ad Addis Abeba (Ethiopia) ed è interpretato da adolescenti che fino a poco tempo fa vivevano per strada. Ragazzi che hanno conosciuto la città dal basso: i marcapiedi, le notti all'aperto, la droga, i giorni senza promesse. Anche parte della troupe proviene dalla stessa esperienza.
Per questo il film non è soltanto una storia raccontata, ma un percorso condiviso: un lavoro creativo in cui vite reali hanno trovato spazio nel cinema, dando voce a chi raramente viene ascoltato.
Il film racconta quell'età sospesa in cui si è ancora bambini e già costretti a diventare grandi. Per chi cresce ai margini della città, inseguire un sogno significa attraversare ogni giorno la povertà, l'incertezza, le scelte che arrivano troppo presto.
Grandi Giochi osserva questi ragazzi mentre cercano il proprio posto nel mondo, in equilibrio tra strada e futuro.
Questo Cortometraggio, girato tra gennaio e febbraio 2026, non è soltanto un racconto, ma anche un'esperienza di partecipazione e formazione. Attraverso il cinema, i giovani coinvolti hanno potuto sperimentare nuove possibilità, lavorando insieme davanti e dietro la macchina da presa e contribuendo a costruire un progetto dal valore umano e creativo unico, trasformando la propria vita in immagini.

Africa runs, jumps, laughs. It does not seek medals, but listening. And in the games of the little ones, the ancient heartbeat of humanity resonates.
The Great Games Project was born in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) and is performed by teenagers who until recently lived on the streets. Boys who have experienced the city from below: the sidewalks, the nights outdoors, drugs, the days without promises. Some members of the crew also come from the same experience.
For this reason, the film is not just a story told, but a shared journey: a creative work in which real lives have found space in cinema, giving voice to those who are rarely heard.
The film tells of that suspended age in which one is still a child and already forced to grow up. For those who grow up on the margins of the city, chasing a dream means crossing poverty, uncertainty, and choices that come too soon every day.
Great Games observes these young people as they search for their place in the world, balancing between the street and the future.
This Short Film, filmed between January and February 2026, is not just a tale, but also a participatory and training experience. Through cinema, the young participants were able to explore new possibilities, working together in front of and behind the camera and contributing to building a project of unique human and creative value, transforming their lives into images.

Das Projekt Große Spiele entstand in Addis Abeba (Äthiopien) und wird von Jugendlichen interpretieret, die bis vor kurzem auf der Straße lebten. Junge Leute, die die Stadt von unten kennengelernt haben: die Gehwege, die Nächte im Freien, Drogen, Tage ohne Versprechen. Auch ein Teil des Teams stammt aus derselben Erfahrung.
Deshalb ist der Film nicht nur eine erzählte Geschichte, sondern ein geteilter Weg: eine kreative Arbeit, in der reale Leben im Kino Raum gefunden haben, und denen eine Stimme gegeben wird, die selten gehört werden.
Der Film erzählt von dieser schwebenden Zeit , in der man noch ein Kind ist und schon gezwungen ist, erwachsen zu werden. Für diejenigen, die am Rande der Stadt aufwachsen, bedeutet das Verfolgen eines Traums, jeden Tag die Armut, die Ungewissheit, die Entscheidungen, die zu früh kommen, zu durchqueren.
Große Spiele beobachtet diese Jugendlichen , während sie ihren Platz in der Welt suchen, im Gleichgewicht zwischen Straße und Zukunft.
Dieser Kurzfilm, gedreht zwischen Januar und Februar 2026, ist nicht nur eine Erzählung, sondern auch eine Erfahrung der Teilnahme und Ausbildung. Durch das Kino hatten die beteiligten Jungen die Möglichkeit, neue Möglichkeiten auszuprobieren, indem sie gemeinsam vor und hinter der Kamera arbeiteten und dazu beitrugen, ein Projekt mit einzigartigem menschlichem und kreativem Wert aufzubauen, und ihr Leben in Bilder verwandelten.
