Art for Human Rights porta Diritti Umani Ora! a Cortina d’Ampezzo: una serata di musica e parole per sensibilizzare sul tema, sempre più urgente, dei diritti umani.
Sul palco dell’Alexander Girardi Hall sabato 12 settembre alle 20:45 Erica Boschiero, Moni Ovadia e Greta Zuccoli — tre artisti che hanno sempre fatto della propria musica e della propria arte uno strumento di cambiamento del mondo — porteranno il proprio contributo al termine di una giornata che comprende anche i 30 km di “hike and bike” di Amnestiana, da Misurina ad Auronzo lungo la Ciclabile dei Diritti Umani, organizzata anch’essa da Art for Human Rights in collaborazione con Amnesty International Italia e Insieme Si Può.
La serata renderà omaggio anche a Glen Hansard, apprezzatissimo cantautore e musicista irlandese, amato in tutto il mondo, che avrebbe dovuto essere presente al concerto e che è tragicamente scomparso in un incidente in moto lo scorso 29 luglio.
Da quasi 25 anni Art for Human Rights utilizza l’arte non come sfondo, ma come strumento di difesa e promozione dei diritti umani.
Ogni concerto, mostra o evento organizzato e realizzato ha promosso il rispetto dei diritti umani universali, raccolto fondi per le organizzazioni che li difendono e acceso l’attenzione del pubblico sulle violazioni che minacciano la vita delle persone in tutto il mondo.
Il concerto di Cortina risponde a questa stessa missione, portando sul palco la musica come linguaggio universale a sostegno dei diritti umani.
Art for Human Rights brings Human Rights Now! to Cortina d'Ampezzo: an evening of music and words to raise awareness on the increasingly urgent issue of human rights.
On stage at the Alexander Girardi Hall on Saturday, September 12 at 8:45 p.m., Erica Boschiero, Moni Ovadia and Greta Zuccoli — three artists who have always made their music and art a tool for changing the world — will contribute at the end of a day that also includes the 30 km of “hike and bike” by Amnestiana, from Misurina to Auronzo along the Human Rights Cycle Path, also organized by Art for Human Rights in collaboration with Amnesty International Italy and Insieme Si Può.
The evening will also pay tribute to Glen Hansard, a highly appreciated Irish singer-songwriter and musician, loved all over the world, who was set to be present at the concert and tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on July 29.
For almost 25 years, Art for Human Rights has used art not as a background, but as a tool for the defense and promotion of human rights.
Every concert, exhibition, or event organized and carried out has promoted respect for universal human rights, raised funds for organizations that defend them, and drawn public attention to violations that threaten people's lives around the world.
The concert in Cortina responds to this same mission, bringing music as a universal language in support of human rights to the stage.
Art for Human Rights bringt Menschenrechte jetzt! nach Cortina d’Ampezzo: einen Abend mit Musik und Worten um auf das zunehmend dringliche Thema der Menschenrechte aufmerksam zu machen.
Auf der Bühne der Alexander Girardi Hall am Samstag, den 12. September um 20:45 Erica Boschiero, Moni Ovadia und Greta Zuccoli — drei Künstler, die ihre Musik und ihre Kunst stets als Instrumente für Veränderung der Welt nutzen — werden ihren Beitrag am Ende eines Tages leisten, der auch die 30 km „Hike and Bike“ von Amnestiana umfasst, von Misurina nach Auronzo entlang des Radwegs der Menschenrechte, der ebenfalls von Art for Human Rights in Zusammenarbeit mit Amnesty International Italien und Insieme Si Può organisiert wird.
Der Abend wird auch Glen Hansard gewidmet, einem hochgeschätzten Singer-Songwriter und Musiker aus Irland, der weltweit geliebt wird und der beim Konzert anwesend sein sollte und tragischerweise am 29. Juli bei einem Motorradunfall ums Leben gekommen ist.
Seit fast 25 Jahren nutzt Art for Human Rights Kunst nicht als Hintergrund, sondern als Instrument zur Verteidigung und Förderung der Menschenrechte.
Jedes Konzert, jede Ausstellung oder Veranstaltung, die organisiert und durchgeführt wird, hat den Respekt für die universellen Menschenrechte gefördert, Gelder für die Organisationen gesammelt, die diese verteidigen, und das öffentliche Bewusstsein für die Verletzungen geschärft, die das Leben von Menschen weltweit bedrohen.
Das Konzert in Cortina folgt dieser gleichen Mission, indem es Musik als universelle Sprache zur Unterstützung der Menschenrechte auf die Bühne bringt.
