Il Delicious Festival Dolomiti è una grande festa dello sport e dell’eno-gastronomia ideato e realizzato dal team Cortina Delicious per valorizzare il patrimonio storico, naturale, alpinistico ed enogastronomico dell'area Lagazuoi - 5 Torri - Giau di Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Nel corso dei due giorni, il 27 e il 28 settembre 2024, si svolgeranno tre gare di trail - inserite nel calendario ITRA nel calendario nazionale UISP e tra le competizioni di livello agonistico riconosciute dal CONI - con percorsi differenti e di diversa lunghezza, degustazioni, ed eventi per bambini nel cuore delle Dolomiti Unesco.
Il percorso della gara lunga si snoda tra Pocol, Lago d'Ajal, Croda da Lago, 5 Torri, Nuvolau, Lagazuoi e Passo Falzarego, attraversando i musei all'aperto della Grande Guerra combattuta in alta quota delle Dolomiti, uno dei luoghi più ricchi di storia di Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Fiore all’occhiello del Delicious Festival è la valorizzazione dell’aspetto eno-gastronomico.
Nei punti di ristoro posizionati lungo il percorso, e in occasione della festa finale che si terrà a Pocol al PalaDelicious, punto d'arrivo delle gare, si potranno gustare piatti speciali, delicious per l’appunto, cucinati dagli chef dei ristoranti e dei rifugi coinvolti che fanno parte dell'area Cortina Delicious.
The Delicious Festival Dolomiti is a great sporting event brought about by the Cortina Delicious team with the aim of enhancing the historical, natural, mountaineering and gastronomic heritage of Cortina d'Ampezzo's unique area Lagazuoi – 5 Torri – Giau.
For two days, on 27th and 28th September 2024, three trail races with different routes of varying lengths - included in the ITRA and UTMB index race calendars - as well as tastings and events for children will take place in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Dolomites.
The long-distance run winds through the Cortina Delicious area between Pocol, Lago d'Ajal, Croda da Lago, 5 Torri, Nuvolau, Lagazuoi and Falzarego Pass and crosses the open-air museums of the Great War amid the indelible traces of the high mountain warfare.
What makes the Delicious Trail unique, however, is its emphasis on the eno-gastronomic aspect.
At the refreshment points along the route and the closing ceremony in the PalaDelicious in Pocol, the finish area of the races, participants can enjoy very special dishes prepared by the chefs of Cortina Delicious restaurants and refuges.
Das Delicious Festival Dolomiti ist ein großartiges Fest, das dem Sport und der Gastronomie gewidmet ist.
Es wurde vom Team Cortina Delicious ins Leben gerufen und organisiert, um nicht nur den Berglauf, sondern auch Natur, Geschichte, Alpinismus und die Gastronomie des Gebiets Lagazuoi – 5 Torri – Giau von Cortina d'Ampezzo zu promoten.
An zwei Tagen, am 27. und 28. September 2024, finden im Herzen des UNESCO-Welterbes Dolomiten drei Berglaufrennen mit unterschiedlichen Streckenlängen statt, die in die Rennkalender ITRA und UTMB Index aufgenommen worden sind, sowie Verkostungen und Kinderveranstaltungen. Der Langstreckenlauf schlängelt sich durch das Gebiet Cortina Delicious: Pocol, Lago d'Ajal, Croda da Lago, 5 Torri, Nuvolau, Lagazuoi und Falzarego-Pass, und führt durch die Freilichtmuseen des Ersten Weltkriegs inmitten der unauslöschlichen Spuren des Hochgebirgskrieges.
Was den Delicious Trail jedoch einzigartig macht, ist die Kombination von Sport und Gastronomie.
An den Verpflegungsstellen entlang der Streckenführungen und bei der Abschlussfeier im Festzelt PalaDelicious in Pocol, Ziel der Rennen, können die Teilnehmer ganz besondere Gerichte genießen, die von den Köchen der Restaurants und Hütten des Gebiets Cortina Delicious zubereitet werden.
