Il 25 luglio 2026 Cortina d’Ampezzo diventa il cuore pulsante del trail running internazionale con “CORTINA 56-26 – The Legacy Trail”, il nuovo evento ideato da Fondazione Cortina in partnership con Karpos per celebrare il legame tra le Olimpiadi Invernali di Cortina 1956 e i Giochi Olimpici e Paralimpici di Milano Cortina 2026.
Molto più di una gara: un’esperienza immersiva tra sport, natura e memoria Olimpica. Due i percorsi previsti — 26 km e 56 km — disegnati lungo sentieri, boschi e venue iconiche che hanno fatto la storia degli sport invernali.
Le gare partiranno dal centro di Cortina, ai piedi dello storico Campanile, per concludersi al suggestivo Trampolino Olimpico di Zuel. I runner attraverseranno luoghi simbolo come lo Stadio Olimpico del Ghiaccio, la pista da bob Eugenio Monti, il Col Druscié, l’Olympia delle Tofane e il Faloria, vivendo un viaggio unico tra passato e futuro.
Per chi desidera condividere la sfida sarà disponibile anche la modalità staffetta a coppie.

• Orari ritiro: venerdì 24 luglio (08:00–12:00 / 13:30–19:00) e sabato 25 luglio (06:30–08:00)

On July 25, 2026, Cortina d’Ampezzo becomes the vibrant heart of international trail running with “CORTINA 56-26 – The Legacy Trail”, the new event created by the Fondazione Cortina in partnership with Karpos to celebrate the link between the Cortina 1956 Winter Olympics and the Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Much more than a race: an immersive experience of sport, nature, and Olympic memory. There are two routes planned — 26 km and 56 km — designed along trails, forests, and iconic venues that have made history in winter sports.
The races will start from the center of Cortina, at the foot of the historic Campanile, and conclude at the picturesque Olympic Ski Jump of Zuel. Runners will pass through symbolic places such as the Olympic Ice Stadium, the Eugenio Monti bobsled track, Col Druscié, the Olympia of the Tofane, and Faloria, experiencing a unique journey between the past and the future.
For those who wish to share the challenge, a partnership relay mode will also be available.

• Cortina 26K Start: Saturday, July 25, 2026, by 8:45 a.m.
• Bib number and race package pickup: Revis gym, via dei Campi – Cortina d’Ampezzo
• Pickup times: Friday, July 24 (8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. / 1:30 p.m.–7:00 p.m.) and Saturday, July 25 (6:30 a.m.–8:00 a.m.)

Am 25. Juli 2026 wird Cortina d’Ampezzo zum pulsierenden Herzen des internationalen Trailruns mit “CORTINA 56-26 – The Legacy Trail”, dem neuen Event, das von der Fondazione Cortina in Partnerschaft mit Karpos ins Leben gerufen wurde, um die Verbindung zwischen den Olympischen Winterspielen in Cortina 1956 und den Olympischen und Paralympischen Spielen in Mailand Cortina 2026 zu feiern.
Viel mehr als ein Rennen: ein immersives Erlebnis zwischen Sport, Natur und olympischer Erinnerung. Zwei die vorgesehenen Strecken — 26 km und 56 km — sind entlang von Pfaden, Wäldern und ikonischen Orten gestaltet, die die Geschichte des Wintersports geprägt haben.
Die Rennen starten im Zentrum von Cortina, am Fuß des historischen Campanile, und enden am schönen Olympiasprungplatz von Zuel. Die Läufer werden symbolträchtige Orte wie das Olympische Eisstadion, die Bobbahn Eugenio Monti, den Col Druscié, die Olympia der Tofane und den Faloria durchqueren und eine einzigartige Reise zwischen Vergangenheit und Zukunft erleben.
Für diejenigen, die die Herausforderung teilen möchten, wird auch die Staffel-Option in Zweierteams verfügbar sein.
