La casa editrice Il Poligrafo nell’ambito della rassegna "Veneto Books 2026", che rientra nell'iniziativa "Il Veneto Legge", organizza per venerdì 6 novembre alle ore 20.30 una conversaizone con lo scrittore Pietro Lando.
Verrà presentato il libro "Nei cieli di San Marco. Storia di Venezia vista dall'alto", pubblicato da Il Poligrafo. La serata si svolgerà nelle Sale Espositive del Municipio di San Vendemiano.
Il libro ricostruisce la storia dell’aviazione veneziana, dai primi esperimenti di volo in Laguna alla stagione degli idrovolanti, dall’aeroporto del Lido alla rinascita dell’industria aeronautica italiana dopo il 1945. Pietro Lando, nato e residente al Lido di Venezia, è laureato in Scienze Biologiche e in Storia ed è autore di diversi volumi dedicati alla storia di Venezia e del suo territorio.

The publishing house Il Poligrafo, as part of the review "Veneto Books 2026", which is part of the initiative "Il Veneto Legge", organizes for Friday, November 6 at 8:30 p.m. a conversation with the writer Pietro Lando.
The book "In the Skies of San Marco. A History of Venice Seen from Above" will be presented, published by Il Poligrafo. The evening will take place in the Exhibition Halls of the Municipality of San Vendemiano.
The book reconstructs the history of Venetian aviation, from the first flight experiments in the Lagoon to the era of seaplanes, from the airport at Lido to the rebirth of the Italian aeronautical industry after 1945. Pietro Lando, born and residing at Lido di Venezia, has a degree in Biological Sciences and History and is the author of several volumes dedicated to the history of Venice and its territory.

Der Verlag Il Poligrafo organisiert im Rahmen der Veranstaltung "Veneto Books 2026", die Teil der Initiative "Il Veneto Legge" ist, für Freitag, den 6. November um 8.30 p.m. eine Gesprächsrunde mit dem Schriftsteller Pietro Lando.
Das Buch "Nei cieli di San Marco. Storia di Venezia vista dall'alto", veröffentlicht von Il Poligrafo, wird vorgestellt. Der Abend findet in den Ausstellungsräumen des Rathauses von San Vendemiano statt.
Das Buch rekonstruiert die Geschichte der venezianischen Luftfahrt, von den ersten Flugversuchen in der Lagune über die Ära der Wasserflugzeuge bis zum Flughafen am Lido und der Wiederbelebung der italienischen Luftfahrtindustrie nach 1945. Pietro Lando, geboren und wohnhaft am Lido di Venezia, hat einen Abschluss in Biowissenschaften und Geschichte und ist Autor mehrerer Werke, die der Geschichte von Venedig und dessen Umgebung gewidmet sind.
