Apertura al pubblico dell'Oratorio del Salvatore di Villa Ca' Nave di Cittadella
Di fine Seicento, custodisce opere attribuite ad importanti artisti internazionali quali gli affreschi del pittore francese Louis Dorigny, e i busti marmorei del fiammingo Giusto Le Court.
Affacciato sulla strada, subito fuori dalla cerchia delle Mura, si sviluppa il complesso di Villa Nave Querini detta “Ca’ Nave” e Oratorio del Salvatore. Poco dopo aver ottenuto il titolo nobiliare, Bernardo Nave, illustre rappresentante della famiglia che lì possedeva una casa dominicale, decise di ristrutturarla e di costruire una cappella mausoleo, che venne realizzata entro il 1689, sul sito di un antico xenodochio intitolato a San Lazzaro. La qualità del disegno, davvero inconsueta per una cappella annessa ad una villa, ha portato al nome dell’architetto Antonio Gaspari; anche la soluzione decorativa, che trasforma lo spazio interno quasi in una sala teatrale, è della stessa qualità: si può infatti infatti considerare uno dei più omogenei e preziosi esempi di decorazione pittorica e scultorea del tardo Seicento.

Opening to the public of the Oratory of the Savior of Villa Ca' Nave in Cittadella
From the late 17th century, it houses works attributed to important international artists such as the frescoes by the French painter Louis Dorigny and the marble busts by the Flemish Giusto Le Court.
Overlooking the road, just outside the city walls, is the complex of Villa Nave Querini known as “Ca’ Nave” and the Oratory of the Savior. Shortly after obtaining the noble title, Bernardo Nave, an illustrious representative of the family that owned a manor house there, decided to restructure it and to build a mausoleum chapel, which was completed by 1689, on the site of an ancient xenodochium dedicated to St. Lazarus. The quality of the design, truly unusual for a chapel attached to a villa, has been attributed to the architect Antonio Gaspari; even the decorative solution, which transforms the interior space almost into a theatrical room, is of the same quality: it can indeed be considered one of the most homogeneous and precious examples of painting and sculpture decoration from the late 17th century.

Öffnung für die Öffentlichkeit der Oratori von Salvatore in Villa Ca' Nave di Cittadella
Aus dem späten 17. Jahrhundert, beherbergt Werke, die wichtigen internationalen Künstlern wie die Fresken des französischen Malers Louis Dorigny und die Marmorbüsten des flämischen Giusto Le Court zugeschrieben werden.
Direkt an der Straße, kurz außerhalb der Stadtmauern, liegt der Komplex der Villa Nave Querini, genannt “Ca’ Nave”, und des Oratoriums von Salvatore. Kurz nach Erhalt des Adelstitels beschloss Bernardo Nave, ein bekannter Vertreter der Familie, die dort ein Herrenhaus besaß, diese zu renovieren und ein Mausoleums-Kapelle zu errichten, die bis 1689 auf dem Gelände eines alten Xenodochiums, das St. Lazarus gewidmet war, fertiggestellt wurde. Die Qualität des Entwurfs, die für eine an eine Villa angegliederte Kapelle wirklich ungewöhnlich ist, wird dem Architekten Antonio Gaspari zugeschrieben; auch die dekorative Lösung, die den inneren Raum fast in einen Theatersaal verwandelt, ist von gleicher Qualität: es kann in der Tat als eines der homogensten und wertvollsten Beispiele für Malerei und Skulptur aus dem späten 17. Jahrhundert angesehen werden.
