ACQUA ALTA torna con la stagione teatrale 2026/2027 di Chioggia, giunta alla sua XXXII edizione. Otto appuntamenti, da novembre a marzo, accompagneranno il pubblico in un percorso tra teatro, comicità, danza e circo contemporaneo, con compagnie internazionali e interpreti affermati. Per questa edizione tutti gli spettacoli si svolgeranno al Teatro Don Bosco, valorizzato come spazio di riferimento per la comunità e per la vita culturale cittadina.
25 febbraio – CENA CON SORPRESA (Tosca D'Aquino, Simone Montedoro, Toni Fornari, Elisabetta Mirra)
Stefania e Arnaldo sono una coppia benestante e affiatata e insieme sono i genitori della ventenne Angelica.
La loro routine viene scossa durante una normale cena con il loro migliore amico Francesco, cinquantenne come loro, che da un anno porta avanti una relazione segreta proprio con Angelica.
La serata diventa il momento della verità quando la ragazza spinge Francesco a rivelare il loro legame ai genitori.
Attraverso i toni della commedia lo spettacolo si interroga su come crollino le nostre certezze e i nostri schemi mentali quando una situazione non convenzionale ci tocca da vicino, stravolgendo la nostra stessa vita.

ACQUA ALTA returns with the 2026/2027 theater season in Chioggia, now in its thirty-second edition. Eight events, from November to March, will guide the audience through a journey of theater, comedy, dance, and contemporary circus, featuring international companies and acclaimed performers. For this edition, all performances will take place at the Teatro Don Bosco, enhanced as a reference space for the community and the city's cultural life.
February 25 – DINNER WITH A SURPRISE (Tosca D'Aquino, Simone Montedoro, Toni Fornari, Elisabetta Mirra)
Stefania and Arnaldo are a well-off and close-knit couple and together they are the parents of twenty-year-old Angelica.
Their routine is shaken during a normal dinner with their best friend Francesco, who is in his fifties like them, and who for a year has been having a secret relationship with Angelica.
The evening becomes the moment of truth when the girl urges Francesco to reveal their connection to her parents.
Through the tones of comedy, the show questions how our certainties and mental patterns collapse when an unconventional situation touches us closely, upending our very lives.

ACQUA ALTA kehrt mit der Theatersaison 2026/2027 in Chioggia zurück, die ihre XXXII. Ausgabe erreicht hat. Acht Termine, von November bis März, werden das Publikum auf einen Weg zwischen Theater, Komik, Tanz und zeitgenössischem Zirkus mit internationalen Gruppen und etablierten Künstlern begleiten. Für diese Ausgabe finden alle Aufführungen im Teatro Don Bosco statt, das als wichtiger Raum für die Gemeinschaft und für das kulturelle Leben der Stadt gewertet wird.

Stefania und Arnaldo sind ein wohlhabendes und eng verbundenes Paar und gemeinsam die Eltern der zwanzigjährigen Angelica.
Ihre Routine wird während eines normalen Abendessens mit ihrem besten Freund Francesco, der in den Fünfzigern ist wie sie, ins Wanken gebracht, der seit einem Jahr eine geheime Beziehung mit Angelica führt.
Der Abend wird zum Moment der Wahrheit, als das Mädchen Francesco drängt, ihre Verbindung den Eltern zu offenbaren.
Durch die Töne der Komödie hinterfragt die Aufführung, wie unsere Gewissheiten und mentalen Muster einstürzen, wenn eine unkonventionelle Situation uns direkt betrifft und unser eigenes Leben auf den Kopf stellt.
