Dai sontuosi banchetti delle corti medievali ai sapori genuini delle sagre di paese, un incontro per riscoprire le radici della cultura gastronomica veneta e il profondo legame tra cibo, storia e tradizioni popolari.
L’Auditorium delle Scuole Medie di Chiarano, ospiterà la presentazione del libro Dal banchetto alla sagra. Mangiare e bere nelle Venezie tra Medioevo ed età contemporanea di Danilo Gasparini, docente di Storia dell’Alimentazione all’Università di Padova.Nel corso dell’incontro, l’autore accompagnerà il pubblico alla scoperta dell’evoluzione delle abitudini alimentari delle Venezie, attraverso i secoli e i diversi contesti sociali.
L’appuntamento, promosso dalla Biblioteca comunale di Chiarano, rappresenta un’occasione per approfondire la storia del territorio attraverso il cibo, elemento fondamentale della memoria collettiva e dell’identità locale.
From the sumptuous banquets of medieval courts to the genuine flavors of local festivals, a meeting to rediscover the roots of Venetian gastronomic culture and the deep connection between food, history, and popular traditions.
The Auditorium of the Middle Schools of Chiarano will host the presentation of the book From Banquet to Festival. Eating and Drinking in the Venices from the Middle Ages to Contemporary Age by Danilo Gasparini, professor of Food History at the University of Padova. During the meeting, the author will guide the audience to discover the evolution of the food habits of the Venices, through the centuries and different social contexts.
The event, promoted by the Chiarano Municipal Library, represents an opportunity to deepen the history of the territory through food, a fundamental element of collective memory and local identity.
Von den prunkvollen Festen der mittelalterlichen Höhlen bis zu den echten Aromen der Dorffeste, ein Treffen zur Wiederentdeckung der Wurzeln der gastronomischen Kultur Venetien und der tiefen Verbindung zwischen Essen, Geschichte und Volkstraditionen.
Das Auditorium der Mittelschulen von Chiarano wird die Präsentation des Buches Vom Festmahl zum Fest. Essen und Trinken in den Venetien vom Mittelalter bis zur Gegenwart von Danilo Gasparini, Professor für Essensgeschichte an der Universität Padua, ausrichten. Im Verlauf des Treffens wird der Autor das Publikum auf eine Entdeckungsreise durch die Entwicklung der Essgewohnheiten der Venetien führen, durch die Jahrhunderte und die verschiedenen sozialen Kontexte.
Der Termin, gefördert von der Gemeindebibliothek von Chiarano, stellt eine Gelegenheit dar, die Geschichte des Territoriums durch das Essen zu vertiefen, ein fundamentales Element der kollektiven Erinnerung und der lokalen Identität.
