Il Festival Chitarristico Internazionale delle Due Città è un prestigioso appuntamento musicale che unisce i territori di Treviso, Mestre, Venezia e Cavallino-Treporti. Nato nel 1998 e diretto dal maestro Andrea Vettoretti, propone concerti capaci di mettere in relazione musica classica, world music e linguaggi contemporanei.
All’interno del Festival, Matteo Salerno al flauto e Andrea Candeli alla chitarra danno vita a un incontro musicale che attraversa oltre cinquant’anni di storia del pop e del rock. Il duo, formato da due concertisti eclettici, costruisce un repertorio che dagli anni Settanta arriva fino ai giorni nostri, rileggendo brani italiani e internazionali attraverso una sensibilità personale e un dialogo continuo tra i due strumenti.
Accanto ai grandi successi della musica pop e rock trovano spazio anche alcune pagine della tradizione classica, reinterpretate con libertà e misura. Ne nasce un percorso sonoro che mette in relazione epoche e stili differenti, senza rinunciare all’identità originaria delle composizioni.
Il concerto riflette la visione del New Classical World, uno spazio artistico in cui la tradizione incontra la contemporaneità e apre nuove possibilità espressive. Flauto e chitarra diventano così le voci di un racconto ricco di sfumature, capace di alternare energia, eleganza e momenti più intimi.
Per la serata è previsto il servizio navetta dal Cimitero di Treporti al Borgo. In caso di maltempo il concerto si terrà presso la Sala Teatro in piazza Papa Giovanni Paolo II Ca' Savio.
The International Guitar Festival of the Two Cities is a prestigious musical event that brings together the territories of Treviso, Mestre, Venice, and Cavallino-Treporti. Founded in 1998 and directed by Maestro Andrea Vettoretti, it offers concerts that connect classical music, world music, and contemporary languages.
Within the Festival, Matteo Salerno on flute and Andrea Candeli on guitar create a musical encounter that spans over fifty years of pop and rock history. The duo, composed of two eclectic concert performers, builds a repertoire that ranges from the Seventies to the present day, reinterpreting Italian and international pieces through a personal sensitivity and a continuous dialogue between the two instruments.
Alongside the great hits of pop and rock music, there is also space for some pieces from the classical tradition, reinterpreted with freedom and balance. This creates a sound journey that relates different eras and styles, without renouncing the original identity of the compositions.
The concert reflects the vision of the New Classical World, an artistic space where tradition meets contemporary and opens new expressive possibilities. Flute and guitar thus become the voices of a story rich in nuances, capable of alternating energy, elegance, and more intimate moments.
For the evening, a shuttle service is provided from the Treporti Cemetery to the Borgo. In case of bad weather, the concert will be held at the Theater Hall in Piazza Papa Giovanni Paolo II Ca' Savio.
Das Internationale Gitarrenfestival der Zwei Städte ist ein prestigeträchtiges musikalisches Ereignis, das die Gebiete Treviso, Mestre, Venedig und Cavallino-Treporti vereint. Es wurde 1998 gegründet und steht unter der Leitung von Maestro Andrea Vettoretti. Es bietet Konzerte, die in der Lage sind, klassische Musik, World Music und zeitgenössische Sprachen miteinander zu verbinden.
Innerhalb des Festivals geben Matteo Salerno an der Flöte und Andrea Candeli an der Gitarre ein musikalisches Treffen, das über fünfzig Jahre Geschichte des Pop und Rock durchläuft. Das Duo, bestehend aus zwei eclektischen Konzertisten, stellt ein Repertoire zusammen, das von den 1970er Jahren bis in die Gegenwart reicht und italienische sowie internationale Stücke durch eine persönliche Sensibilität und einen kontinuierlichen Dialog zwischen den beiden Instrumenten neu interpretiert.
Neben den großen Hits der Pop- und Rockmusik finden auch einige Seiten der klassischen Tradition Raum, die mit Freiheit und Maß neu interpretiert werden. Es entsteht ein Klangweg, der Epochen und unterschiedliche Stile miteinander verbindet, ohne auf die ursprüngliche Identität der Kompositionen zu verzichten.
Das Konzert spiegelt die Vision der New Classical World wider, eines künstlerischen Raums, in dem die Tradition auf die Gegenwart trifft und neue Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten eröffnet. Flöte und Gitarre werden so zu den Stimmen einer Erzählung, die reich an Nuancen ist und in der Lage ist, Energie, Eleganz und intimere Momente abzuwechseln.
Für den Abend ist ein Shuttle-Service vom Friedhof Treporti zum Dorf vorgesehen. Bei schlechtem Wetter findet das Konzert im Sala Teatro auf dem Platz Papa Giovanni Paolo II Ca' Savio statt.
