A 800 anni dalla morte di S.Francesco (3 ottobre 1226) la figura e l’opera del Patrono d’Italia e del Comune di Cavallino-Treporti resta una pietra miliare della cultura e della civiltà mondiale. Il S.Francesco che viene presentato in questo spettacolo è, a suo modo, originale per ambientazione, temi e lingua. Il linguaggio infatti si dipana tra l’italiano e il dialetto veneto. L’incipit dello spettacolo sarà infatti ambientato a Treviso in quella che diventerà la Chiesa di S.Francesco. I due protagonisti però si muoveranno liberamente nel tempo dal 13° secolo ad oggi, dando vita ad una realtà distopica che ci interrogherà sulla figura di Francesco e sul momento storico che viviamo. Le tematiche trattate sono infatti di grandissima attualità: la guerra, il mondo animale, la ricchezza e la povertà, l’arte.

800 years after the death of St. Francis (October 3, 1226), the figure and work of the Patron Saint of Italy and the Municipality of Cavallino-Treporti remains a milestone in world culture and civilization. The St. Francis presented in this show is, in its own way, original in setting, themes, and language. The language unfolds between Italian and the Venetian dialect. The incipit of the show will indeed be set in Treviso in what will become the Church of St. Francis. However, the two protagonists will move freely through time from the 13th century to today, bringing to life a dystopian reality that will question us about the figure of Francis and the historical moment we live in. The themes addressed are highly relevant today: war, the animal world, wealth and poverty, art.

800 Jahre nach dem Tod von S.Franziskus (3. Oktober 1226) bleibt die Figur und das Werk des Patrons von Italien und der Gemeinde Cavallino-Treporti ein Meilenstein der Kultur und der Weltzivilisation. Der S.Franziskus, der in diesem Stück präsentiert wird, ist auf seine Weise originell in Bezug auf Schauplatz, Themen und Sprache. Die Sprache entfaltet sich nämlich zwischen Italienisch und dem venetischen Dialekt. Der Anfang des Stücks wird tatsächlich in Treviso angesiedelt sein, in dem, was zur Kirche von S.Franziskus werden wird. Die beiden Protagonisten bewegen sich jedoch frei durch die Zeit vom 13. Jahrhundert bis heute und erwecken eine dystopische Realität zum Leben, die uns über die Figur des Franziskus und den historischen Moment, in dem wir leben, zum Nachdenken anregen wird. Die behandelten Themen sind in der Tat von höchster Aktualität: Krieg, die Tierwelt, Reichtum und Armut, Kunst.
