L'Università Popolare Alto Muson di Castelfranco Veneto è felice di presentare un nuovo ciclo di lezioni intitolato "Quando l’Orchestra Racconta il Poema Sinfonico". Durante questi incontri, il Prof. Maestro Roberto Fiorentin, musicista e direttore d'orchestra, condurrà i partecipanti in un affascinante viaggio attraverso il mondo del poema sinfonico, un genere musicale in cui l'orchestra racconta storie ed emozioni senza l'uso di parole.
La prima lezione, giovedì 5 febbraio 2026, si concentrerà su alcune tra le opere più celebri del repertorio sinfonico. Verranno analizzati La Moldava di Smetana, Nelle Steppe dell'Asia Centrale di Borodin, Danza Macabra di Saint-Saëns e il famoso balletto Lo Schiaccianoci di Čajkovskij. Ogni pezzo verrà esplorato non solo attraverso l'ascolto, ma anche con approfondimenti storici e culturali sugli autori, supportati da materiale audio e video per un'esperienza di apprendimento completa.
La seconda lezione, giovedì 12 febbraio 2026, sarà incentrata su altre celebri composizioni, tra cui Guglielmo Tell di Rossini, Una Notte sul Monte Calvo di Mussorgskij, Peer Gynt di Grieg e L'Uccello di Fuoco di Stravinskij. In questa lezione, il Maestro Fiorentin approfondirà come la musica sinfonica possa evocare immagini e racconti, trasportando l’ascoltatore in paesaggi lontani e in storie epiche, tutto attraverso la potenza evocativa delle note.

The Alto Muson Popular University of Castelfranco Veneto is pleased to present a new series of lessons titled "When the Orchestra Tells the Symphonic Poem." During these meetings, Prof. Maestro Roberto Fiorentin, musician and conductor, will lead participants on a fascinating journey through the world of the symphonic poem, a musical genre in which the orchestra tells stories and emotions without the use of words.
The first lesson, on Thursday, February 5, 2026, will focus on some of the most famous works in the symphonic repertoire. Works such as The Moldau by Smetana, In the Steppes of Central Asia by Borodin, Danse Macabre by Saint-Saëns, and the famous ballet The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky will be analyzed. Each piece will be explored not only through listening but also with historical and cultural insights about the composers, supported by audio and video materials for a comprehensive learning experience.
The second lesson, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, will center around other renowned compositions, including William Tell by Rossini, Night on Bald Mountain by Mussorgsky, Peer Gynt by Grieg, and The Firebird by Stravinsky.
