Il Palio medievale di Castelfranco Veneto, “ludi ad muros”
Domenica 14 settembre sarà il culmine delle celebrazioni del Palio dei Cei, una giornata intensa di eventi, competizioni e spettacoli che coinvolgeranno la città in un’atmosfera di festa e tradizione. La giornata avrà inizio alle ore 9.00 con il corteo dei bambini del Palio dei Cei, che partirà dal Duomo e percorrerà via Preti, via Garibaldi e il ponte dei beghi per giungere in Piazza Giorgione, con ingresso dal ponte provvisorio sugli spalti Nord-Ovest.
Alle 10.00 prenderà il via la competizione principale del Palio dei Cei, seguita dall'apertura dell’area ristoro alle 12.00. Alle 12.30 si terrà la cerimonia di premiazione con la consegna del Palio dei Cei da parte del sindaco.
Nel pomeriggio, alle 16.00, avrà inizio il corteo storico dei Consoli, che partirà dalla Torre Civica per attraversare via Preti, porta Cittadella, via Filzi e Piazza Giorgione, con ingresso al prato degli spalti Nord-Ovest. Il corteo accompagnerà gli arcieri che si sfideranno nel tradizionale torneo del forziere. L’apertura sarà caratterizzata da uno spettacolo di sbandieratori, tamburi e chiarine, seguito dalla lettura del regolamento e dalla presentazione degli arcieri e dei borghi. Il torneo di arcieria storica prenderà il via subito dopo, e al termine il vincitore sarà proclamato, con la consegna del premio al borgo trionfante.
Alle 18.00 si terrà la finale del Baeon dei Cei, seguita dalla consegna del palio e delle medaglie alle 18.45.
La serata culminerà con uno spettacolo di sbandieratori e tamburi alle 20.00, in apertura delle finali dell’Antico gioco del Pallone. A seguire, avranno luogo le semifinali, con la finale che inizierà alle 21.00. Alle 21.30 il sindaco consegnerà il Palio dell’Antico gioco del Pallone, chiudendo la manifestazione con uno spettacolo di sbandieratori, tamburi e chiarine, che accompagneranno la fine di questo straordinario evento.

On Sunday, September 14, it will be the climax of the celebrations for the Palio dei Cei, an intense day of events, competitions, and shows that will involve the city in an atmosphere of festivity and tradition. The day will begin at 9:00 AM with the parade of the children of the Palio dei Cei, which will start from the Cathedral and will traverse via Preti, via Garibaldi, and the ponte dei beghi to arrive in Piazza Giorgione, entering through the temporary bridge on the North-West ramparts.
At 10:00 AM, the main competition of the Palio dei Cei will commence, followed by the opening of the refreshment area at 12:00 PM. The award ceremony will take place at 12:30 PM with the delivery of the Palio dei Cei by the mayor.
In the afternoon, at 4:00 PM, the historical parade of the Consuls will begin, starting from the Civic Tower to cross via Preti, Porta Cittadella, via Filzi, and Piazza Giorgione, entering the lawn of the North-West ramparts. The parade will accompany the archers who will compete in the traditional torneo del forziere. The opening will feature a performance by flag wavers, drums, and clarions, followed by the reading of the rules and the presentation of the archers and the districts. The historical archery tournament will start right after, and at the end, the winner will be announced, with the trophy awarded to the winning district.
At 6:00 PM, the final of the Baeon dei Cei will take place, followed by the award of the palio and medals at 6:45 PM.
The evening will culminate with a performance by flag wavers and drums at 8:00 PM, opening the finals of the Antico gioco del Pallone. Subsequently, the semifinals will occur, with the final starting at 9:00 PM. At 9:30 PM, the mayor will award the Palio dell’Antico gioco del Pallone, closing the event with a show of flag wavers, drums, and clarions, marking the end of this extraordinary event.
Das mittelalterliche Palio von Castelfranco Veneto, “ludi ad muros”
Am Sonntag, den 14. September, wird der Höhepunkt der Feierlichkeiten zum Palio dei Cei stattfinden, ein intensiver Tag voller Veranstaltungen, Wettbewerbe und Aufführungen, die die Stadt in eine festliche und traditionsreiche Atmosphäre eintauchen lassen. Der Tag beginnt um 9:00 Uhr mit dem Umzug der Kinder des Palio dei Cei, der vom Dom aus startet und über die Via Preti, die Via Garibaldi und die Brücke der Beghi zur Piazza Giorgione führt, mit Eintritt von der provisorischen Brücke auf die Nordwest-Terrassen.
Um 10:00 Uhr beginnt der Hauptwettbewerb des Palio dei Cei, gefolgt von der Eröffnung des Verpflegungsbereichs um 12:00 Uhr. Um 12:30 Uhr findet die Preisverleihung mit der Übergabe des Palio dei Cei durch den Bürgermeister statt.
Am Nachmittag, um 16:00 Uhr, beginnt der historische Umzug der Konsulen, der von dem Rathaus aus startet und die Via Preti, das Stadttor Cittadella, die Via Filzi und die Piazza Giorgione überquert, mit Eintritt auf die Nordwest-Terrasse. Der Umzug wird die Bogenschützen begleiten, die im traditionellen Tournament des Schatzes gegeneinander antreten. Die Eröffnung wird von einer Aufführung mit Fahnen- und Trommelspielern sowie Klarinetten geprägt sein, gefolgt von der Lesung der Regeln und der Vorstellung der Bogenschützen und der Stadtviertel. Das historische Bogenschießen wird sofort danach beginnen, und am Ende wird der Gewinner proklamiert, mit der Übergabe des Preises an das siegreiche Viertel.
Um 18:00 Uhr findet das Finale des Baeon dei Cei statt, gefolgt von der Übergabe des Palio und der Medaillen um 18:45 Uhr.
Der Abend wird um 20:00 Uhr mit einer Aufführung der Fahnen- und Trommelspieler, die die Finalspiele des Antico gioco del Pallone eröffnen, kulminieren. Es folgen die Halbfinalspiele, mit dem Finale, das um 21:00 Uhr beginnt. Um 21:30 Uhr wird der Bürgermeister den Palio des Antico gioco del Pallone übergeben und die Veranstaltung mit einer Aufführung der Fahnen-, Trommel- und Klarinetten-Spieler beenden, die das Ende dieses außergewöhnlichen Ereignisses begleiten.
