In occasione della dodicesima edizione il Castelfranco Veneto Jazz Festival, ospita l'Orchestra Ottovolante, una prestigiosa formazione con oltre vent'anni di attività che schiera tredici elementi tra voci, pianoforte, contrabbasso, batteria, percussioni e una potente sezione fiati che vi farà rivivere le atmosfere dei primi varietà televisivi.
Diretto dal celebre trombonista Mauro Ottolini, uno dei musicisti più importanti e poliedrici del jazz italiano, il concerto propone un travolgente omaggio alla musica italiana del dopoguerra.
Il repertorio reinterpreta i grandi classici della canzone italiana attraverso arrangiamenti ricercati in chiave jazz, swing, mambo e cha cha cha.
L'evento unisce l'eclettismo di Ottolini, già collaboratore di colossi del jazz internazionale e della musica pop, alla forza espressiva di un'orchestra nata per trasformare la memoria musicale in pura energia ritmica.

On the occasion of the twelfth edition, the Castelfranco Veneto Jazz Festival hosts the Ottovolante Orchestra, a prestigious ensemble with over twenty years of activity that features thirteen members including vocals, piano, double bass, drums, percussion, and a powerful brass section that will make you experience the atmospheres of the early television variety shows.
Directed by the renowned trombonist Mauro Ottolini, one of the most important and versatile musicians in Italian jazz, the concert offers a stunning tribute to post-war Italian music.
